Abrecan inclined his head quietly and leaned against the side of the ship. It was somewhat comforting to not have to apologize verbally. He haden't mant to upset the mage so much earlier. "Sometimes i don't think."

Polaris looked him. "Its the emotions they make you respond irrationally but you are a creature of fire. Fire is an element ruled by feeling joy, anger, they fule it." he looked out the ocean. "I am water though the face of the sea changes to be calm and gentle to furious and raging at its very core it is cold and indifferent merely adjusting itself to its needs. Going with the flow and changing to accomdate it but only on the surface." he said coldly apparent rambling on about nothing really lost in his own world. The previous outburst was bringing memories and unwanted feelings to the surface as he prattles off the teachings of his instructor.

The movement that came from under the water suddenly stopped as the fish scattered and the water stopped moving. With a sudden shudder the ship was rocked as the large blue serpent rammed into the ship, the water sloshing onto the deck.
Nefreous ran onto the deck, his eyes wide as his water bound brother looked down at him with large teeth and a face of the beast they had fought before.
"Show your self you cowardly fool! Stop hiding from me!" He called as he leaned out towards the sea beast.
"What are you stupid Fire Bird? You would end each other! You know that!" Loki looked down at the two as the serpent snapped at him sending him below deck for shelter.
Nefreous looked to his crew and narrowed his eyes. "Run, seek shelter! Go now!" He demanded as he winced, his Myth form beging to take form once more.

"Bite me." Liam bit off absently as he overheard the Ice Mage's rambling, rolling his eyes, he ran a hand through his hair, disgusted with such a creature such as Polaris. Feeling the shuddering response of the creature's attack on the ship, Liam found himself sprawling backwards--rolling across the watery floor of the ship. Getting to his feet slowly, he lifted a hand and felt a small amount of blood trickling from a cut he had received, and shook his head slightly to steady himself. Looking over to the god, Loki, and the captain, Liam staggered on his way to the confines of the ship, wondering what the hell he had willingly walked into.

Polaris ran over and stood between the two. "Stop it..you are two opossing elements you'll kill each other." he said calmly. "This is ridiculous."

Abrecan had not anitcpated the attack and rolled back with the motion, slamming into the opposite side of the ship. Dammit.Groaning he pushed himself up and ran towards the stairs that lead below deck to check on Liam.
"You okay?" he called grabbing ahold of the frame to steady himself. As he spoke his eyes flashed crimson again and a strong pushing sensation emerged behind his shoulder blades.

Dammit.Groaning he pushed himself up and ran towards the stairs that lead below deck to check on Liam. "You okay?" he called grabbing ahold of the frame to steady himself. As he spoke his eyes flashed crimson again and a strong pushing sensation emerged behind his shoulder blades. Liam nodded, holding his temple tenderly--feeling a bruise beginning to form where he had hit himself moments before. "Nice to meet you, I'm Liam." he introduced himself, "Though it figures that this is the time we do meet." he added, leaning against the nearest wall for support. His head was pounding from the hit he took, and is vision was slightly blurring from time to time.

He dashed off just as two massive wings burst from his back. Stifling a pained cry he rose above the ship, wings moving involuntarily. Then he dove towards Nefreous and Polaris yelling in frustration at the beast in the water. "CUT IT OUT!"

He dashed off just as two massive wings burst from his back. Stifling a pained cry he rose above the ship, wings moving involuntarily. Then he dove towards Nefreous and Polaris yelling in frustration at the beast in the water. "CUT IT OUT!" Liam found himself collapsing after Abrecan left, his legs too weak from all the shaking the boat was experiencing. He felt himselt growing sick, and he staggered further into the depths of the ship as he battled against the sensation to retch violently. Taking in gulps of air to keep the vomit down for a bit while longer, he hurried to the nearest bin and threw himself against it--vomiting the last meager meal he had. His toned-frame shook from the intensity of the sickness, taking ahold of him in its grip. Afterwards, Liam absently wiped his mouth, pushing himself away from the mess he had created.

Polaris looked over. "You stop too..opposing element! All of you get down below! NOW!" His eyes glowed a dark blue this time as the symbols appeared on his skin. He cried out for a moment his body becoming covered in ice. "s**t.." he muttured as he felt the emotions whelling up inside of him the boat suddenly started to pitch and heave even more.

Abrecan doged out of the way just as one of the masts came swinging towards him. "You think you'll do any better?" he called dow to the ice mage. "Things are getting worse!" The problem was that the hybrid had no intention of hiding either. "We have to raw him away from the ship!"

Ice started forming around the ship. "s**t!" he cried out again his voice had gone from emotionaless to one of panic. "Get everyone off the ship..get them off the ship now..I'm losing it!" he screamed out.

"Dammit." He dove down to the deck where Liam was and grabbed him. "Sorry about this kid", he grunted as he lifted above the ship again. "Polaris! Get ahold of yourself!"

Polaris screamed out as spikes of ice start to erupt from the water. "I can't its too late...I can't." he started crying. "I can't...." his voice suddenly became very childlike as his composure completly broke. "I'm scared.."

Moving around the spikes as fast as he could Abrecan landed on the shore. He placed Liam on the ground and took off again. "Stay here", he ordered. "I know you don't wanted to be treated like a liability, but there's nothing you can do now."It seemed the captain was preoccupied.
On his way back to the ship he barely missed being impaled by another ice javelin and crashed onto the deck to get out of the way. Scrambling to his feet he dashed back to Polaris and crouched next to him, fighting hard to keep his footing on the slippery wood. "Hey, calm down." Abrecan reached out hoping the boy would let him take them back to shore.
