Syn made sure to lock his apartment, placing a protection spell on it just in case some thieves got ideas. With that done, he follows the other male outside to where Alicia was waiting with the car running. Huh. He just shook his head at the statement, laughing slightly. He slid into the passenger seat, feeling kind of bad about Morgan being in the back but it would be fine he knew. He had to keep from snorting at the cow comment. That he would love to see. Alicia atte prong to pet a cow. Though he was eager to as them themselves as the only livestock he ever saw was used in rituals that involved healing and harvest. Not to say that he's seen a lot but still. He made sure to settle his bag on the floor before buckling up, making himself secure as he waited for Morgan to get in the back seat and settle himself as well before they were off.

With everyone all buckled in and Morgan doing the same once he got in, Alica drives off as the three headed out towards the freeway. "You know, the fact that Morgan lives in a farm with his brother and sister-in-law. I'd have thought he lives in the suburbs, guess I was wrong, still that's a long drive just to get into town." Alica says with eyes on the road. Morgan shrugged lightly not minding the drive in his case, "There's a reason for that, mostly in fact it's due to an agreement we took before buying the land from the previous owners." he replied after taking out his phone to text Avery that they're brining Syn over for a visit, Alica knows why though she'd rather let Syn find out for himself as to what sort of farm Morgan and his brother lives in and the slight excitement she seems to have like a grade school girl that's on a school trip as she didn't had much time to spend when she first went to pick up Morgan.

Syn leaned back into the seat as they took off, settling himself as he listened to Alicia start talking. He blinked at the statement of Morgan living in the suburbs butbthen shrugged. "Yeah. You'lYou'll be surprised at how many people you expect to live in a certain place love someplace else." he replied after a moment of thought. He turned his head to ask Morgan about what agreement but decided not to as it was none of his business. And besides, he would probably find out what when they got there. He looked over at Alicia to see that she was excited to be going to tje farm and shook his head in exasperation. Were all officers like this or were Morgan and Alicia special cases?

"Amazing at how anybody who graduated from a police academy are." Morgan reacted from Alica's antics which she just scoffed at. "Please those serious faces they show on TV are just for the public. I see no difference with those from the CIA when there ain't no work to be done." brushing her hand in the air as if it's just the same old same old kinda stuff or it's just typical stereotypes. Coming up to the exit that goes into the freeway, Morgan gets a text from Avery before texting back, "Oh Agent Alica, just a heads up, no smothering the cattle." he blatantly says which Alica exclaimed afterwards. "The reason why is because one of the cows are known to knock someone out after that kind of encounter." not really telling which and just giving a basic reason, Alica just nodded before turning on the radio to listen to some road music.

Syn just sat and listened to the two, shaking his head at thier antics. He snorted at Morgan's statement. That seemed right. After all, would you want some random human coming up to you and trying to hug you to death? Yeah. Not so if he was a cow. He could just imagine a cow knocking Alicia down all because it was surprise by her actions and got spooked because of it. He had a feeling that Morgan was saying this for a reason, but he just could not figure out what. Well, in any case he knew that it was going to be an interesting trip, that was for sure. Hell, he may even get some good memories from it as well aa some pictures. As Alicia turned on the radio, he pulled out his phone to play a game to occupy his time until someone wanted to talk.

The drive was normal and pleasant, it wasn't long before the scenery outside began to change with farmlands all around with vibrant wheat and corn fields to the much greener produce both being hand picked to the more modernized way via harvesters making their daily runs along the fields with their contents being conveyed onto the trucks that hauls them over to be stored for delivery or storage. The drive took nearly 3 hours as Alica began to wonder how is it that she drew the short straw when it came to picking up Morgan from the city to the farmhouse he currently resides in, though Morgan stated that it's a pleasant drive and that a lot of Americans in the late 40s to 80s always took long drives from home to work and back again; "Well nowadays people would rather be close to work than hours away, hell compared to your place, Syn also lives close to his work place and it's even within the city not in the country side." Alica teased Morgan only to be mocked that the convenience she's used to is one reason for her being late for work as she puffs up her cheek before sticking her tongue out at Morgan from the mirror. "Come on Syn back me up, it's better to live close to work than far away right?" She asked after waving her hand in Syn's field of vision.

Syn happened to look up to see that they were now in the countryside and looked around, placing his phone back into his pocket so he could get a proper look. Huh. Druids would love this type of place, that was for sure. Though, 3 hours is a bit of time then again that how itbwas sometimes. He was in no position to judge anyone. He looked over to Alicia and Morgan to see them arguing good-naturedly before going back to staring out the window. That is until Alicia waved her habd in front of his face, trying to get his attention. "Ah. I plead the fifth. Don't get me involved in this." he replied, amusement coloring his voice. "Plus, you might want to turn your attention back to the road, please." he added after a second, referring to the car starting to go off road.

"Bah~ well in either case I'm at least looking forward to petting some cows, so count yourself lucky Morgan." Alica said, Morgan only chuckled at her anticipation to the cattle at the farm. As the drive continued on and nearly half an hour had passed now, the farm came into view and close to it was a small forest patch as the trees seemed much younger than the once in the distance, the barn and house looked rustic and homey though no cows insight it seems as the harvester out in the wheat field makes it's daily run. "There's Morgan's farm, wonder if those minotaurs are hard at work." Alica said as they come up to the drive way though Morgan corrected her, "She's a Holstaur and we only have her and a manticore working as farmhands." Morgan informs though a bit of a long pause came from Alica as she parks the car in front of the farmhouse. "Guess Beastman and demon races are more hard working than some of the other races huh?" Alica blatantly says before putting on the parking brakes, sure enough the farmhands are off by the barn taking a break, they waved at Morgan when he stepped out of the car as he just waved back at them as they went back to enjoying their time off from their morning preparations. Avery was on the porch laying his head down on Gerry's lap and sat up straight when he saw her waving at Morgan and the others. "Sup big bro!! Syn~~~!!! Ali Baba!!" Avery as full of energy as ever waving his arms in the air. "Welcome to Darebelly farm guys, one of the best dairy farms in Hael! or at least in my book." welcoming the group with his arms opened wide with a happy grin.

Syn just shook his head at Alicia's antics as they continued until they came to a stop in front of the farm. "It looks very cozy." he replied as he looked around. He blinked about what Morgan said about a Holstaur and a manticore and wondered how those twobraces became farmhands? He was sire that there was a very good story behind it. He grabbed his bag before opening the door of the car and stepping out. He shouldered his bag as his boots hit the ground. He got a jolt at the feel of the earth, causing him to lose control of his magic a bit and made a sapling nearby bloom rapidly into an adult oak tree. Whoops! He reigned it back in, wondering why it was acting up again. Maybe it's because he was surrounded by nature and his magic locked up on it. Sigh. Oh, well. He followed Morgan, staring briefly at rhebtwo creatures taking a break and they stared back, surprised at seeing a druid he guessed. He pushed the thought aside as Morgan's brother and Gerry came into view. He waved back to the fox as they got closer . He shook his head in amusement at Avery's antics. "It's a very nice place you have here." he said with a smile as a crown of lilies bloomed happily in his hair. Damn it! He decided that he was going to ignore it for now.

"Thanks" Avery chirped as he and Gerry walked off the porch to greet Syn with a hand shake, "Well the place came with a price but in the end it was worth it since we're caretaking Pam and Yui over there." Avery points at the manticore and holstaur who're still resting beside the barn, Avery cupped his chin after scratching it as he thought to himself, "Well the previous owners couldn't bring them along to their ranch back in the states because of restrictions, they would've love to bring them though, it's just too difficult to allow them to enter the states thanks to their... well it ain't gonna be cheap either." Avery informs as the two farmhands looked his way as he waved at them with a smile before gesturing them to come on over to greet Syn to the farm. Alica on the other hand was else were, possibly at the barn where the cows are at the moment and with nothing else to do, Pam and Yui got up as they trotted over to Avery and the rest.

Syn returned the handshake with a smile before looking over at Avery as he started to explain how tje farm can with a price and the two farmhands. He blinked about the statement and winced inwardly. Yeah. The states were strict about certain crestures, which was just plain silly in his opinion but he understood why those restrictions were in place. Didn't mean he had to like it. He had noticed that Alicia had disappeared which was no surprise as she kept talking about the cows, so he would bet his favorite pair of heels that she waa in the barn, harassing them. He watched as the now named Pam and Yui got up and walked over to them. Wow. They were much bigger up.close.

As the two stopped beside Avery, he cleared his throat, "Alright to formally introduce you to our farmhand, Pam the Manticore." he said as she waved a hand at Syn, "Hey how's it going, I mostly deal with the heavier stuff here, but anywho nice to meet ya." in a tomboyish manner giving a salute in the end and placing her paws on her hips. Avery giggled until Pam gave him a good slap on the back which caught him by surprised, Yui giggled at Avery's predicament but patted him softly on the back, "And here we have Yui the Holstaur." coughing slightly as both farm hands let out a slight giggle, "Pleased to meet you Syn, bet you're here since Morgan have seen your place huh." she giggled again before folding her hands in front of her as Morgan let out a slight groan, Yui stood beside Morgan just to rub him on the back as she was just teasing. Adjusting his glasses, Morgan looked at the two farmhands as he crossed his arm, apart from Avery, it seems Morgan is more of the boss in the farm but sighs, giving them a smile, their break was almost finished but they had a few to spare with some small talk.

Syn smiled and nodded. "It's nice to meet both of you." he replied to each of them. He blinked at that statement before shrugging. "Yeah. I suppose so. It's only fair, right?" he replied, bemusement coloring his voice as he saw Morgan groan. Really? All he did was invite the man in after his car was totaled and let him spend the night. Not like he asked the man to move in with him. Really. He knew that the farmhands were teasing but still. "Hey, Avery. Is it okay if I explore the farm a bit? My magic is itching to get out and i would rather have a big space to unleash it without it turning your entire farm into a forest." he asked, as his magic crackles over his hair in agreement making even more flowers bloomed in his hair. Sigh. This was getting troublesome. Ever since he came in contact with Ankou, his magic had become more active. Oh, he still had control but his magic still slipped through. Like now for example.

Avery took notice and so did Gerry as she whispered into his ear, Avery became star struck and clasped his hands together. "Sure thing, there's a little area just beyond the forest patch over there, Gerry thought of having a hydroponics there until the mayor turned it down because of water consumption so we haven't used it as much, actually Morgan can take you there." Avery informs and points at the overgrown farm land, Gerry seemed to sigh as she must've wanted to build a hydroponics for reasons only to her and Avery. Seeing as Alica is busily doing gods knows what to the cows at the moment, he agrees to take Syn over to where the unused land is as he took off his coat and hands it to Pam as she folds it and placed it on her tail. "It should be a few walks from here, but we can take the quad there." Morgan states folding up his sleeves though a small patch of burn scars show around his forearm as he adjusted his sleeves a little to cover the scars. "My room is still off limits even to the farmhands when they first asked." he added a few moments as the farmhands just giggled, though the house doesn't seem to be off limits, so supposedly it's okay to enter.

Syn wondered if he should be alarmed about tbe look in Avery's eyez but decided not to question it. At all. Nope. He tilted his head to the side when a hydroponic was mentioned and was curious about that. He decided that he would ask later. "Sure. Sounds like a plan." he replied, looking at Morgan with a smile. He had noticed the scars briefly before Morgan had covers them up and had to wonder how he had gotten them. Though he jad a feeling that it would not go over well if he did. "I don't mind walking. I could use the exercise." he replied after a second before looking at the giggling farmhands then back at Morgan. "Okay?" he said, not understanding but went with it anyway. So, he wasn't allowed to enter the other's room? That was cool. He had no problem with that.
