Maria nodded at Marco’s thoughts on her hometown. “Yeah, it can be pretty busy with tourists. With the beach who can blame them, not to mention the boats that come in and out of the harbor.” She commented. “Though, my idea of vacation would probably be more like here or somewhere in the mountains.”She replied. Hearing about Celestic Town it sounded quaint to her. “I like the sound of Celestic Town, it seems rather calming.” Maria told him with a smile. She liked the idea of a calming atmosphere, probably why she spent a lot of time in the open fields or the beach. Course the stars weren’t always as clear as being in a town.
Maria wished Marco good luck also before giving it her best shot. By her third attempt she was about to call it quits. Maria hadn’t gotten anything and was literally wasting tickets. Luckily the third attempted gave her a Snorunt plush. “Cute.” She commented. It was kind of cute and it was something. She so was going to keep it. Perhaps she could stick it on her bed or something. Deciding to keep trying after that, she came up with a retry and a couple berries. Getting a few berries that would be helpful for Espurr if he ever decided to battle, she was quite happy with that.
With four tickets left, Maria thought about saving them. She’d done alright for herself and she didn’t really want to blow her last few remaining tickets. When it came to luck the brunette knew that once you had some you were probably destined for the reverse. Putting her berries away in her bag, Maria held onto her Snorunt Plush in her arms. Espurr didn’t seem to mind the plushie’s company.“Hey looks like you won something.” Maria commented brightly. It was a Delibird plush. Much like her Snorunt he got an ice plush too.

Nirav always seemed to have impeccable luck at these sorts of things. It didn't take him very long to win some prizes and have some tickets left over for a game in the future. In the end, he walked away with several small plushies he could put around his room and a berry for... well... Nirav would figure out a use for it eventually, like the others he has been holding onto for a while now. Nirav looked around, thinking about what else he could do. He stepped away from the crowd, feeling the chill hit him as he left the collective warmth of the group surrounding the lottery area. He started to remember having seen a skating rink around somewhere. Apparently, people could just stand on ice. More than that, they didn't slip around somehow. He was determined to go and see it, though he paused. Kirsi, Koru, and Cyril mentioned trying to see each other again sometime. No time better than now, right?
Nirav sent out a text to Koru and Cyril, and that was where he realized he never got Kirsi's number. Well, two was better than one, he supposed. Surely between the three of them, someone could get in touch with her.
To: Koru & Cyril Message: Hi guys, it's Nirav. I saw a sign for an ice skating rink on the way to the lottery area. Do you want to meet up there sometime soon? Also, do you guys have a way of asking Kirsi too? I realized I don't have her number...
After sending that text, Nirav made his way over to where he remembered seeing the ice rink, honestly not knowing what exactly to expect.

Kirsi ended up winning four plushies. She traded three of them so she could get a cute glaceon and kept the graceful dewgong plushie too. It was very nice to hug, since its body was so long. The two plushies made good companions for the Chance one as she stuffed them in her bag. Kirsi had used up all her leftover tickets from the Lamia festival, but she was glad she had gotten two plushies she really liked so it was worth it. "Let's go, Koru! I think there's a skating rink!" Kirsi was super excited to get a chance to skate again, it was one of her favorite things. Plus she was excited to share it with Koru. "Have you ever ice skated before?"

Cyril had to say he was disappointed that he couldn't get a sneasel plushie to accompany his snorunt plushie. Siegrid, his sneasel was quite disappointed when they left the place without his plushie version. "Sorry about that, it's not our lucky day," Cyril patted consolingly in his attempt to cheer up the sneasel. The thought of owning any kind of doll had never crossed his mind nor ever even now. It would stay as room decor if his pokemon doesn't want them. Cyril stashed the 3 plushies into a paper bag he had been given to carry his winning, he was careful that he didn't squashed the berries inside. On second thought, he decided to move them into his bag with his other berries. They were more useful than the plushie. The occa berry is said to be able to help pokemon resist fire damage for a duration when eaten. That might even be useful for upcoming tournament. A tag battle where he had to find companion. He was in mind to ask Nirav, but hesitated, Nirav would have agreed out of friendship which is why he doesn't want to ask him. He rather not influence Nirav to enter a tournament out of obligation. There was the random option, he supposed and he would have plenty of time to think about his choice.
His pokegear buzzed with message. it was from Nirav. What a coincidence. Cyril turned it on to see what was up. Nirav was inviting them to meet up at the skating rink, along with Kirsi and Koru. Ice skating, huh? Icirrus City has plenty of spot for those. He supposed he could take a look at what it was like in here and he would be able to meet up with them too.
To: Nirav "Sure, I will be there. Koru might be with Kirsi. I don't have any of their number to be able to contact them."
He tapped sent and left the booth.

After countless tries of not getting anything Koru began to think she had used all of her luck in the last game. She watched as Kirsi got great stuff, which made her really happy to see, but that Froslass was eyeing her- she couldn't give up yet! Finally she struck gold, or platinum, when she got the platinum ball, which got her a ton of berries and a Articuno plush toy. It was pretty big, a bit bigger than the Ivysaur she had given Kirsi,"Kirsi look! It's one of 'dem legendary birds from Kanto! "She remembered them history class, maybe she could show Miss Floros later. She had also received a Snorunt, it reminded her of Cyril a little bit- probably the ice- but she was still really wanting the Froslass. The worker at the counter then told her that she could in fact TRADE a few of her prizes in for one she really wanted. Ecstatic at the news she traded some of the stuff she knew she didn't want and as if it was happening in slow motion the worker handed her the Froslass plush. It was really pretty, it's body like a Kimono with a big red ribbon, now she wanted to meet one in real life.
Throwing it up and down in excitement she got a text on her gear, Kirsi also recieving one, from Nirav. He was hoping to meet them at the ice rink. Kirsi's excitement was evident but Koru's excitement was a little more tamed, "Yeah let's go...!"An ice rink with her friends sounded fun, but she has never ice skated before...
X⇒ LOCATION : Lotto Booth XXXXXXXXXX⇒ WITH : Iris Silvano was glad that Iris seemed to be relived to hear his words. She may have been incredulous before, but after hugging his friend, it probably removed all doubt -- just as it had done for him. Still looking at Iris, Silvano kept up his now sheepish smile as she explained why she thought of him as cool. Her enthusiasm was almost infectious. "I guess I did." Silvano slowly replied, when Iris had mentioned him winning the coolest Halloween costume. "Though, that was just for a costume -- It was luck, really." He then added, trying his best to sound modest." Iris' words were extremely flattering, especially the part about his sense of style. Though, he couldn't help but wonder what else she was about to say before her words petered off. "Thanks. I really appreciate your words." He told his friend before sharing his thoughts on her. He could barely believe how red her face had gotten with each trait he listed off about her.
"Are you alright? Your face looks pretty red?"Silvano then commented with a bit of a laugh. He knew perfectly well why his friend was blushing so madly. He just couldn't help himself from pointing it out. Iris' hiding behind her scarf really did little to hide it. Honestly, Silvano couldn't help but find Iris' reaction cute and amusing. Though, mostly, he was still relishing her words about being glad that she was his friend. It felt good knowing that she shared the same sentiment as him. Remembering that he had some prizes to claim, Silvano decided to excuse himself for a moment, "Hang on. I'll be right back." He told his friend, quietly stepping away from her. He still really wanted to make Iris' day, and knew just how to do that.
Heading on over to the lotto booth, Silvano reached into his pocket and removed the lotto balls he had stashed there. Looking them over, he began to compare them to the prize board, already working out which plush he had won and which ones he'd have to trade in order to get the Lapras Plush. Seeing as the Lapras cost eight points, he would have to trade in all other plush he won to obtain it -- thankfully not including the Sneasel Iris had given him. Without any hesitation, Silvano handed to balls on over to the booth attendant. Though, before she could collect the prizes for him, Silvano let her know that he wanted to trade them for the largest plush on display, for which she obliged. Watching as the attendant took down the Lapras plush, Silvano took it from the woman and thanked her before headed off with it. Admittedly, it was a really cool plush. Silvano could definitely see why Iris had her eye on it.
Racing over to Iris, Silvano had tried to hide the giant plush behind his back as best he could before stopping right in front of her with a large closed smile on his face. "Thank you once again for the Pokemon plush." He thanked her, again. "But now, I kinda want to return the favor." Now holding out the giant Lapras out in front of him, he allowed Iris to take it from him "Think of it as a thank you gift for being a really good friend. I hope this is the one you wanted."
After handing over the large plush, Silvano suddenly felt his PokeGEAR go off in his pocket. Retrieving it, the Salamence quickly flipped it open to see what was up. Apparently, sign ups for the tag team tournament were now open. That was excellent news. Silvano couldn't wait to try his luck in another tournament, though, this one would require him to work with a partner. With a glint of intrigue in his eye, Silvano already knew who would be the perfect teammate -- the person who had won the last tournament. Turning his attention back to Iris, Silvano tried to mask his intrigue. "Hey, Iris. There's a tag team tournament coming up. Would you like to be partners for it? We can head over to sign-ups right now if you like." Silvano offered, really hoping his friend would agree to being his teammate. He had no doubt that they'd go far in the tournament together. With that, Silvano began to make his way to where sign-ups where being held.
