The landing was rough. For a moment, Xia was dazed and lost track of where she was and what she was doing. She tried to stand up, but found herself tangled in a net. "I will cut you!" she growled at the little beasts as she strained to reach them with her talons. She would not make this easy on the little jerks. The whole ordeal happened so fast, it was hard to pinpoint exactly when they gained total control over the thrashing harpy. But Xia found herself bound and hanging from a large pole suspended between two of the little masked pae things. She thought maybe they aren't pae things. Annoying things, more like it.
This was the most embarrassing thing to ever happen to her in her life. And that included the crash! When another harpy saw the predicament, Xia was full of shame. But the other bird was captive too. Worry washed over her being as she remembered what she saw, and noted which direction they were going. And that they were bringing another bird. She struggled again, pulling at the binds and trying to contort her joints to wriggle out of the ropes.
All it did was make the rest of the trek awkward and uncomfortable.
She found herself standing in a hut, dimly lit and covered in birds. She recognized a couple of them from the boat. It took every ounce of strength she had to not tear into snobby Bramble, or start something with any of the others. This many bird girls was not good. If looks could kill though, Bramble would be a feathered rug in this hut. Those fancy birds didn't look like they'd put up much of a fight either. Might muss their hairdo.
When the berries were brought in, Xia took the bowl and looked at the little bits of critter food. She picked one up and flicked it towards Bramble, then plucked another from the bowl and sniffed it. "You birds know why we're here? Did you see the big thing by the big stew pot? I bet those mask things are fatten' us up to feed us to it." She pierced the berry with a long claw and licked at the juice that rand down her finger. Hmm, not bad. She popped it in her mouth and before she knew it, she was eating the berries by the handful. "Wuff'nt be supwised," she spoke with a mouth full of berries.
Usually, she's very careful about these sorts of things. She knows which berries to not eat for various reasons, and she'd never seen these before, so it seemed doubly stupid to eat them. But why would they poison the bird girls after putting them in a fancy hut and not tying them up in a cage. The hut couldn't hold them in indefinitely, because they could easily escape. Xia knew it had something to do with that thing she saw. Or the thing she thought she saw, because she was still in disbelief. Also, the berries were really good for not being meat.

Ooooooo so many cuties who all needed hugs! But they were outside the bars, not inside! Silly little things! Moving around the cage with a sing song like tune, totally oblivious to anything else, Prisma squatted next to one with his back turned. "Huggy hug times!" she squeaked and stuffed her arms through the bars to grab the little thing and hug it awkwardly with bamboo bits between the ways. Never once did she think this was a bad idea.
Nope.
Not even when the little thing started to bite her hands. She let go yes and withdrew her hands, shaking them a bit but didn't seem too angry. "Silly, that is not how you kissy kisses extremely!" she giggled, reaching out to pat the thing on the head. Her eyes drifted towards the shiny glittering at its waist. "Ooooo pretty!" she mused, reaching out to grab it but the little critter jumped back. Was this a new game?!
Laughing, Prisma jumped to her feet as it sprang back more and looked like it was about to run. "I love gamey games oh yes indeedy doodles!" she clapped her hands together. The little thing looked so confused but also like it might have slightly enjoyed taunting this incredibly stupid creature it had captured. It shot its hands out and jibber jabbered a few unknown insults before turning around and presenting its tiny little booty with a laugh and a few spanks.
Adonis strolled through the jungle like some fairy tail princess in a.... well fairy tail. A smug smile was plastered to his face as he gently held out his hand for a bird to alight on. He twittered back at it as it sang to him then tossed his back to allow the breeze to sweep through his luxurious mane. "Even nature knows what to desire!" he mused to himself, though his mission was not forgotten, not by any means. He would find this party and hopefully his love very soon!
But what's this?
An unmarked path breaking through the trees seemed to lead off away from the main path in front of him. Up a head he could just make out a mound of boulders all piled high on top one another. Tilting his head, he glanced up towards the singing bird friends he had made. "My little ones, such a choice to make!" he spoke to them as if they understood him. He looked down the path he had already been going, one filtered from sun rays that might irritate his glorious sea green eyes. But then there was the path path to the right....and those boulders.
Curious little boulders. Why did they need to be piled so high like that? Did they serve a purpose? Perhaps they'd might give him a better view of the surrounding area. Or perhaps a magnificent stage that he could view the entire party from and they in turn could view him?!
"Keep well my friends!" Adonis called out to the birds as his mind had been made. Turning right, the god headed down the path and approached the boulders. Once he made it there he gave a flutter of his wings to bring himself to the top. The moment his feet touched, he fell into a glorious flex of all flexes and let loose a satisfied grunt. His sea green eyes fluttered open as he stood up and threw his arms out wide, expecting to hear much excitement and merriment from the party that no doubt waited below.
[Status: Not Kidnapped] Ahhh this was the life, lil creatures to wait on her, not having to hunt for food that enjoyed escaping her grasp, she coulld just kick up her feet and relax. Eventually, Zaden started to notice less and less of the many pae she'd seen at the party around the resort. Not really knowing or actually caring about the dangers, she did live in draknid afterall... Zaden started to get curious about the jungle that she was hearing whispers about. Perhaps she should explore... maybe.

[Status: Kidnapped! ~ Rolled 48, no key stolen] Sommer had settled in next to her friend Neli, she was watching all the grownups around them, some of them acted really odd. She had noticed the blue one with a fin on their back trying to sweettalk the lil creatures and then later flipping out. She leaned over and whispered to Neli about that one. Still looking at other pae she caught the words 'banana' coming from another pair and she giggled, why talk about bananas here again she leaned over whispering and pointing as she giggled. Later she saw one of the guards coming near where they were in the corner of the cage, and she made an attempt to snag a key that dangled from the guard and failed so she went back to pouting and whispering and pointing at other weird pae in the cage.

[Status: Not Kidnapped] Vash had spent quite a bit of time exploring the hotel, relaxing, and eatting. He was certainly more then ready to meet more of the ladies. After primping himself he left his room and headed out of the hotel in hopes of finding another pretty pae to dote upon

[Status: Kidnapped] Bramble hadn't barely even got two words in with Luminita when she had been taken, and now looking around this cage there was far too many here for her to be super confortable. Soon enough though their situation changed and Bramble found herself being stuck with other bird-pae. She resisted the whole idea of being tied up she didn't like it, and the idea of them tying her wings was just laughable... she couldn't fly anyways! not that she admitted that to very many. In the hut once they were allowed to really move she gave each and every other harpy a examining stare, she saw the one that had been picking the fight with her before the party and she was glaring daggers at her... Bramble simply avoided getting too close.

With thick foliage always came critters and bugs of all sizes. The further she pushed in on their territory, the more they realized she was there. They began to scuttle towards the intruder in both curiosity and the need to push her out. How dare she come into their home!
They began to nips at her feet and come from all hiding spots. Slowly her chances of escape started to dwindle. Would she squeeze her way out and flee or defend herself? It looked like she had some nice sticks to pick from.

The little fish certainly didn't understand! It was in a complete panic as the angel attempted to nab it, for what it thought dinner. With as weak as it was it put up a good fight. Still, in the end, it was caught.
It was surprised though when it found itself in the comfort of the lilly pads. It kinda floated for a moment before turning to gaze up at her in wonder. Not many would take the time for a fish. In its thankfulness it spun around, using its tail to splash water up at her. Instead of wetting her though, they turning into sparkles and fell gently onto her.
The little fish was gone.
Now Fraise would be able to get back on the trail she was following. If she did she'd eventually find herself on the outskirts of a clearing with a large cage holding their friends. She's manage to team up with others in a rescue attempt!
((OOC: Fraise has gotten a new power- fish tracking! She now knows the best watering holes for certain types of fish and their favorite kind of bait! Basically, when Fraise goes fishing she wont come home empty handed!))
Echino frowned. "Lil hunny, I promise I'm not wed! Ain't no strings attached to these fingers now!" she tried to persuade male Chae again, but it still didn't seem to work. She was down right pissed at him. And nothing she said or did was working! She usually had charm to make that lil mama smile. But maybe it didn't work because Chae wasn't a lil mamma anymore?
Sighing, Echino dropped her hands and ran one through his lady hair. Blinking, he looked around and watched as even more and more pae seemed to be disappearing. And not just randomly. A lot were now walking or even charging into the jungle. Was something going on over there? "Hey Chae, I think somethin's goin down in the jungle uhhhun." she said and grabbed Chae's hand again. "I wont let you keep that frown forever, maybe its another party! This lil mamma will make some right by you." she swore and drug the other off towards the jungle and whatever was going on in there. She just hoped they weren't late to the gig.

Whatever was causing the sound must have known someone had taken notice to it because it began to pick up speed, zig zagging its way through the forest in an attempt to throw its pursuer off its trail.
It finally broke through the underbrush showing itself to be a rather large mouse with a tiger lilly in its mouth. It finally has to stop by a tree, looking intimated and scared for its life. As a peace offering it holds up the tiger lilly to the massive bird.
The lilly gleams with dew, its nectar sloshing at the bottom of its cup. It looks ripe for the drinking or eating. It trembles in the hands of the mouse. Will she eat them all in one gulp or leave the mouse be?
Pothos gave a visible shudder at the mention of that mortal pae. Abby had no idea how right she was with her guessing. As if the mortal's declarations of love through the microphone hadn't been enough clue. "Please don't remind me...." he gulped then let out an awkward laugh. But the kids... already grown with potential lover's of their own. "That's great for them..." he said softly, then paused. She had noticed it too then? So he wasn't just imagining things.
"I thought so too....wonder where they all went?" he asked, though didn't really expect an answer. He noticed others slipping off into the jungle now, remembering back to Himeros venturing off himself. Was he ok too? Surely he wasn't luring all the pae out into the jungle for another one of his games..... oh goodness he hoped not.
He was brought out of his thoughts at a voice calling his name. He turned to see the younger grace running towards him looking rather upset. And she spoke about the disappearing pae too. "Magic jungle? Then..." he blinked and turned back towards Abby. "What if they are in trouble?" he groaned and brought his hand up to his forehead. They had to do something and not just stand around! Right? Oh Mother, was he even the right god for this?!!

Instead of the gratuitous amount of applause awaiting him, his bird friends began to make their way into the clearing. One by one they perched themselves onto his arms, little chirps of awe leaving their beaks.
How manly! What strength! Soon these words began to come apparent to Adonis' ears. Were their other Pae around? Such lovely skin! It has to be all that oil he uses! Where was the words coming from?
Slowly it became apparent to Adonis that the birds themselves were talking! He did have an audience within the forest and there were so many starting to perch on him that he was getting covered!
With the little detour over, the birds would be glad to lead Adonis to where the captured Pae are. There he can help the others free their friends!
((OOC: Adonis has gained the power of bird communication! He can now talk to birds and hear what they have to say back! Enjoy the never ending audience, Adonis!))

FOR THOSE CAGED AND AROUND THE CAGES!
Things are starting to get a bit more desperate around these parts. There have been hints and talk about a great feast coming up, so your Pae better get to cracking!
There are currently 4 guards on duty. This means anyone in the cage or around it can attempt to roll 4d100s. As before, you need to land the double numbers in order to nab a key off of them (11, 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 77, 88, 99). They're tricky little guys.
That or use your powers or plan a distraction. It's time to bust those Pae out! Or have them for dinner. Again, an all out war wouldn't be recommended as we don't know how many of those guys are out there, but who knows what may happen. Have fun with it!

"Okay Bramble-bird! I'm Luminitia! Nice ta meet'ya (again)." A slight flush of warmth colored her cheeks as she remembered the night before, her conscious unable to comprehend this reaction. After all, all they'd done last night was wrestle; nothing silly or embarrassing about that at all! Just wrestling.
At the sound of some commotion back near the docks, the angel turned to look wide-eyed at a group of pae bounding for the forbidden jungle. "Hey, what do you think they're do---...!" The angel had begun to address Bramble while returning her attention, only to find her friend gone!
"Bra-a-a-a-a-a-a-aaaaaamble-Bird~?!" She called out, looking to the left, to the right (a hand held to her forehead while doing so), then up and, lastly, down. At her feet she saw a bunch of little muddy prints and a mask. Reaching down, she picked up the mask.
She held it out at arm's length.
Then brought it to her face and looked through the eye slots to where the prints lead into the forest.
Aha! Reaching forward with one hand to point in that direction (the other continued to hold the mask to her face), she began off towards the jungle!
Pearl had arisen early. Like, early early. This was unusual for her, as her desire to sleep in was well-known to Kelebek, who usually had to drag into the morning's activities. But Pearl was just too excited to sleep! She was in love! With the sweetest, cutest, most wonderful boy in the whole ocean! And the best part was that he loved her too! And now he was her boyfriend. She could hardly wait to see him again today!
She was already on the beach when Autumn and his father came off the ship, which was exactly how she'd wanted it to be. She wanted him to spot her from afar, her hair floating fetchingly in the brisk wind, her skin luminous in the morning light.
"Good morning!" she exclaimed when she saw him, and gave him a hug. Swimming? Swimming sounded amazing! "Yeah! Great idea!" she responded, and they took off together.
Kelebek couldn't help but be happy for her little Pearl. The girl's energy was sort of contagious. Even if she had woken Kelebek up much earlier than she would have liked, especially considering the late night they'd all had. While Pearl had flitted around the cabin like a nervous anchovy, Kelebek stared at her reflection in the mirror. She didn't see herself like this often, fully reflected and staring back at herself.
Last night had been fun.
She'd really come out of her shell for a while. She blushed at the memory, the paler pink parts of her cheeks turning rosy. The whole thing seemed a little hazy, as a distant memory. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
Her time for reflection (HEH) was cut short as Pearl was now ready to go, and was impatient for Kelebek to come with her. She looked around at their new destination as she was practically dragged behind her daughter. Everything was lovely, of course, but she couldn't help but be reminded of the other beach party she'd gone to, so very long ago...
Ah, good. Pearl and Autumn had found each other. They were sweet together. She hoped it worked out for the best. She saw Hjortur wave, but didn't quite register it until he came over and spoke to her. She did her best not to jump. "Oh! Good morning. Um, yes, it was enjoyable..." A brief tactile memory crossed her mind and she blushed. "And yours?" He'd left rather abruptly because he'd seen someone he knew. She hoped that was a good experience for him--Kelebek couldn't imagine many people she knew, outside of her family, whose presence would be enjoyable and not anxiety-provoking.

[Status: Not Kidnapped] The male angel had barely crossed across the sand when another angel who was so focused on a trail of footprints just about barreled him over. With a quick action he caughter up, and then he noticed just how pretty she was and a slightly goofy grin momentarily lit across his lips. "Dear miss, I do hope you are ok!" he said standing as straight as he could to try to impress the female angel he had caught up in his arms. "Where dost you go in such a rush?"
Florzinha awoke in her bed and the memories of the night previous came rushing back to her. Her behavior had been somewhat out of character. Oh well.
She arose and almost left the cabin, but then thought about it for a moment. She hadn't gotten to practice her meticulous morning routine since she came to this wretched plane. But the amenities of this vessel would allow for the kind of pampering she used to be accustomed to. And so she took her time, bathing and cleaning herself, and putting her hair just so.
When she finally departed the ship, she was feeling much refreshed, and in a better mood than she had been in months. She peeked into the room that had been prepared for her, and liked it very well, but the sunshine of the beach called to her. She had lived in the shadows for so long she'd forgotten one of life's great pleasures: sunbathing. And so she padded down to the beach and laid out on a lounge chair. Smiling, she fell asleep.
