Himeros had shot a winning smile towards the first two patrons to enter the bar. Couple of cuties, rowr! Err, right, business first.
Startled as the tray hit the floor, Himeros turned just in time to see the horrified look on his twin's face before he disappeared beneath the bar. What in the world...? Though he'd just been giving him a hard time about hiding, that had been a more dramatic reaction to something out here than he'd been expecting. Tracing Pothos' line of sight before he'd freaked out, Himeros' gaze landed on the pretty blue stranger who had just sat down at the bar. Odd.
Rather than push, however, he waved to Euphrosyne and nodded towards the patron to see if she could get his order instead.
Already, he had another other. Hurricane for the tawny cutie, got it. Easy enough. As soon as the drink was ready, he leaned down to peer at his twin, currently locked in the fetal position. "Yo, Pothos, pull yourself together," he hissed. "Cute little tawny demon over there with the halo ordered a Hurricane. Take it over to him, would ya'?" He reached in, attempting to tug Pothos out into the open, simultaneously checking that his bow and quiver hadn't been disturbed from their hiding places in the commotion.

Erasmus still wasn't sure this was the best idea they'd ever had. Okay, pretty sure it wasn't, but was it the worst? That had yet to be seen. Darn their curiosity though. The letter had started it all, and to think he'd worried they'd get in trouble for sneaking out to find out who left it and why. Well, they still hadn't found that out, and now it seemed they were locked in for a trip that would take them away from home for days.
Oh, this had better be worth the trouble they were going to be in when they got home.
Well, they had some pretty swanky digs to enjoy for the trip, it seemed. Might as well make the most of those, he supposed. Erasmus had been a bit more intrigued by the bed than his brother (or at least for longer than thirty seconds), and looked up in shock at his twin's sudden exclamation. "Amatus?!? Wha--?" He pushed himself up from the plush comfort about the time his twin flung the offending paper in his direction and dashed out. What was that about 'dark arts?' The nymph snatched the fluttering paper out of the air and focused on it while his mind rushed to catch up.
Oh, great Guardians.
Back on his feet in a flash, he was a blur, dashing out the door and after his twin. He wasn't sure what he was going to find, but he couldn't let Amatus rush off and get himself in trouble somewhere.
Not alone at least.
He still wasn't sure how to feel about all this. Though they had no close ties to the man that had assisted in their creation, it seemed they kept being pulled back into an orbit around him no matter how they tried to fight it. He'd never been a father to them, and they had a family already that loved them very much...they didn't need him.
And yet, here they were again. It was as if some power found it hilarious to keep throwing them back into the affairs of deities.
Shoving past some hovering ladies in the open doorway to the fitness room....oh hello there....Erasmus skidded in shortly after his twin. "Amatus!" His eyes widened, taking in the sight...and attempting not to focus on the speedo, though it seemed to draw one's attention to it. No, he had a dead person standing in front of him, clearly very much not dead at the moment.
Biting his lip in hesitation, Erasmus tore his eyes away from the shining, flexing god to look at his twin. Without a word, he reached for Amatus' shoulder with a firm grip, feeling the trembling and trying to send a feeling of support through the connection. Stay strong, bro.
In taking a moment to gather his words, he only offered a bit more information on their state of mind.
"I don't understand. We...saw you die."

Pearl swam over and put her head close to his. This was very exciting! It felt so intimate, with them so close together, the water's surface making his whispers echo off, but only for her ears to hear.
She immediately wrinkled her nose at the first idea. She didn't want other guys to play with them! She wanted him all to herself! Playing pranks seemed mean, and especially dangerous when there were so many grown-ups around. She brightened at his third suggestion.
"I like food!" she said enthusiastically.
Although that did present the problem of they then had to get out of the pool to look for it. But her skin felt refreshed even from this quick dip in the water. It'd be a good idea to go look for some snacks to refresh their tummies.
A glance around revealed another potential issue. "Autumn," she said, frowning. "There's no easy way out of here for us. Look, the only way to get out is those ladders, and they're clearly for somepae with legs." She flexed her arms a little, wondering if they alone would be strong enough to lift her out, then looked at her friend with a worried expression.
Escort her? Kelebek blushed. "Oh, I hadn't really thought about it," she said, crossing her arms awkwardly. "This whole thing was my children's idea anyway...I don't even know what there is to do, really." She fiddled with her hair. He was such a gentleman! "I wouldn't mind exploring a bit, if it's not too much trouble. I don't want to keep you from your own vacation, of course!" she laughed nervously.
Sometimes she wished she was as gregarious as Pearl!

Andromeda felt a fondness for him as he grumbled about boxes talking, and after they had parted, she wondered if she should have suggested he try not to murder anyone while he was getting his drink. Then again, with the grog in him, he probably was going to be a little more relaxed right? Of course, this was Darias she was talking about...
With the help of a cherub, she found her way to the fitness center, and what she saw made her stop dead on her feet with wide eyes. Ok, gods were supposed to be attractive, but this was a little overkill! And of course, her eyes went to the so-hot-it-could-burn-retinas pink banana hammock and it was like they were sucked in by magnets: no matter how hard, she couldn't look away. She wasn't exactly sure what she wanted to do, throw up or laugh or go to the bar to find Darias and drink this burned image out of her brain.
As she was pondering, she noticed two very beautiful teen nymphs run past and begin to make a commotion. She didn't catch what they were upset about at first until she heard one of them mention that the instructor had apparently died. Well, hot zombie yoga now suddenly sounded more interesting and out did the current bizarre of the situation. Stepping into the room, she smirked a little to herself: Darias' reaction to this God of Speedos was going to be entertaining as well.

"Very well, it seems we both could use a little muscle therapy." Plus, because there would only be a few pae in the room, and that's if they were to be put in a couple's room (at this point, she'd come to realize the situation and accepted it: they were going to be seen as a couple from the point of view of everyone). The massage would truly be a relaxing way to start this trip off.
She caught his last statement before Thaluni asked if they should head out, and a very small smile tugged on her lips. She was happy: happy that he understood her, happy that he had ended up working with her, happy that he was there with her. Happy that he was still interested in knowing more about her and that this trip wasn't just as skin deep as she'd thought. Opening the door, she waited for him, then stepped into place behind him as they walked. After a little bit of careful consideration, she spoke."You know, I get overwhelmed easily with all of these other pae around. I don't want you to feel that you need to come with me back to the room or to whatever quiet place I go to. This is as much your vacation as it is mine."

After a rather terrified cherub squeaked out the answer -he really did ask nicely, honest- finding the bar was simple. But as he swaggled in, his movements still slightly off as a cruise boat and a pirate ship moved differently, his good eye noticed something peculiar. No bar tender. Sure there was a blue shark like pae, and a tan demon, but both of them looked like patrons.
Darias made his way to the bar, which then the red tender finally came to light. Hunched over, peering under the counter. What was so interesting there? Lost a booze? That would be distressing. "Ahoy there maty! Can a Cap'n git a spot of grog 'round here? Somethin to put hair on ye chest." He plopped himself right down next to the tan demon, offering a toothy smile. "Blimey, took too long gettin here! Ye have any trouble finding this rindig?" He had to emotionally scar a cherub to find the bar.

If he was going to be frank, he hadn't actually expected the fey before him to go along with this idea, even if he'd been the one to ask it. The seconds after asking his question had seemed incredibly long (and just as awkward) as he had awaited her response, but for her to have been so forward...
He was playing with fire.
Hopefully he wouldn't get burned too badly.
"Can't guarantee that, but I can try." Her hand in his felt warmer than he would have thought, and her smile sent a flurry of excited and nervous butterflies fluttering about his stomach. "So..." what did one usually do for a date? "...would you like a drink?" It wasn't too early for that, right? At least, not too early on a cruise.

"I like food too~!" he retorted, now fully convinced that going to eat was the most important and fulfilling thing they could do at this very moment. He didn't care that they had to leave the water (he wasn't so thirsty anymore after all), but he hadn't really thought about actually going out to get the food. Looking around the pool, he all but confirmed Pearl's hesitations: only easy way out was ladders.
"Hmm...." he hummed, looking around for an idea. Then it hit him. Looking at Pearl, he raised a single finger up. "I have an idea. One second..." At this, he disappeared out of the water to swim to the deepest part of the pool, and the point furthest away from the wall of interest. He'd heard of these animals that could jump out of the water. If he could imitate them...
"Hah!"
Sprinting forward, hit tail propelled him quickly towards the water's surface. Closer and closer and closer until he propelled himself out, above the ship deck, and crashing down on the flooring below. "Owwww....!" he groaned at the impact, just sort of laying down to let the pain in his torso and stomach fade. Slowly, he used his arms to turn himself around and return to the pool's edge to offer a hand and a smile to Pearl.
"I haven't knowledge as to exactly is happening on this trip, but I do have some suspicions..." as a 'seasoned' veteran of these parties, he had an idea that at least some of the activities would be a bit... more... that the passive demeanor of Kelebek (as he knew her) could handle. Or maybe she was one of those shy ones that just needed a little bit of alcohol to open up; who knew? (He'd certainly like to know)
Looking around, he caught the attention of a Cherub and motioned for it to come over. "It is no trouble at all; I have no prior engagements for his trip," though he was hoping to see his Goddess in all her splendor sometime; perhaps if there were any festivities, she would surely be there. After talking with the cherub, they received a pamphlet with the day's activities listed on them. "Hmm... There is the pool deck, a spa with some sort of event, lunch is likely being served now, a bar, ... hot yoga ...?, and the casino..." he offered her the paper. "Do you find any appealing?"

Thulani was relieved to have found an activity she would like among the fervor of the ship. He understood as well as anypae just how much she disliked large groups - why else have him man the storefront so often? - and that had made her answer to come even more special. There was still so much she knew not about him and him of her, so much to learn. Why not do so while experiencing a little pampering? Or, pampering he suspected it was; having grown up in the country with a little bit of nothing but a lot of love, he couldn't help but feel terribly out-of-place in such accommodations. There was no way he would have been able to come here alone.
But had he put two and two together and realized this trip was, for most, romantically-inclined? Nah, of course not. He figured couples would be coming of course, but that was about it.
He smiled as he passed Aquarious and began walking down the hall, glancing behind him every once in a while to make sure her blue form still followed behind. For his part, he made an effort to avoid the brunt of the crowd whilst looking for this spa, stopping only to speak to her. "I know; dun even worry 'bout it. If'n yur needin' some quiet time, just lemme know an' we can head back. Unless you dun want me tah be thur, then I'll figur somethin' else ta'do." Smiling, he turned around and continued walking for some time before (finally) finding the Spa Lounge.
"Ah... Hello sir!" he spoke to one of the cherubs at the front. "We'd very much appreciate sum massages."

The wilwarin was pleasantly surprised when the blue male picked up her luggage to carry, a bit of a blush appearing on her face. Which caused her to start to sink into the ground before she caught it and rematerialized.
Hoping no one noticed, she quickly stepped after him. Being at a venus party before, she wasn't too surprised at all the hearts and love. But her emerald eyes were wide with the sheer size and amount of pae on the boat. Talk about an adventure for her journal! She wondered about what kinds of things they'd see when they sailed out.
Her reaction to the adorable room was quite different. "Wow!" Adora breathed, her head turning to look at the plush rugs, tasteful art and the rather comfortable looking bed. At his question, she looked over the fae with a tilt of her head. "The bed? It looks quite large." Obviously meant for two. She didn't quite see the issue.
Maybe he kicked in his sleep. Or maybe he was afraid that she kicked in her sleep. "Do you have night terrors?" The daughter of the fae of love inquired innocently.

The closer Dyas got to the glistening god, the more ridiculous he appeared. Like a horribly two dimensional character in some cheesy romance novel. But with her mutism, she kept the distaste off of her face, in fear Azure would think that she was reacting to the idea of Yoga. So she put on her best face, and smiled up at Adonis in what she hoped looked genuine.

 "Okay~" He grinned, looping his clawed hand through her arm, carrying on as if they were long lost friends. "You're a gorgeous fae Navi~ It's nice to meet you" Caine smiled big, looking to the bright and wonderfully scented fae.
"I'm Caine~ I guess that's what my friends would call me too cuz it's so short" He chuckled, wondering what his friends would call him. He'd have to have friends to know that though. What Caine did know, however, was that the pool was near and she was the prettiest pae he'd seen in ages.
 Nicky pondered this, tapping her chin rather than stroking the invisible beard. "I'm sure they're busy enough setting sail, we could get in and out without people questioning it." She nodded to herself, thinking no one would think it was too odd for them to walk off with a bunch of pies.
"Foam the entire deck? I like it. Where are we going to find the soap?" She grinned, looking to the blob she believed to be Baliel. Foaming the deck sounded like it would not only be hilarious, but like good fun too~
 Junior grinned, pressing his lips to Nereus' cheek. "I don't think this is supposed to be a short trip." He couldn't contain the glee. For as much as he loved the family, a nice break from it was almost a relief. Even if he would miss their daughters.
The yellow demon was pleased to notice the tension leaving Nereus' body as she relaxed. This was really happening, and they were getting to enjoy some time to just the two of them. Well, as close to the two of them as it could be on a boat this size. As it were, there were other pae in the pool already. No matter though, he was thrilled to get her into the water to re-hydrate and just get that moment of pure bliss of seeing her silvery skin glinting in the sunlight.
 Sweetie knew she was being ridiculous, there was no other way she would have gotten into the pool so willingly so quickly. Celestia help her, she liked water almost as much as she liked boats. But it was something Dysmas loved, and she was hoping it would block the motion. Maybe she wouldn't start this trip sick to her stomach?
"D-drinks?" She gulped, looking up to him. A blush had plastered across her face, and she was pressing herself against Dysmas. He was her safe spot in this bubble of water on the water. Maybe he was right. A drink might be just what they needed. The fauny pondered for a moment if they had some hard apple cider on board, but shook the thought from her mind. It wouldn't be the same. It wouldn't be the same and if it was she'd want to drink more than one to soothe nerves. Dang boats.

At last, the ship was moving, Bastet had found a nice sunny lounge chair to sprawl out across. Perhaps Zecora had been right, this was relaxing. She dozed off for a while, but eventually this became boring.
Bastet began to wander around the ship aimlessly, staying very clear from the edge of the ship, she was pretending she wasn't surrounded by water. Staying away from the ships edge made the boat that much smaller and she was beginning to feel very confined. She hunted down an itinerary, hoping to find something to do before she got completely agitated and literally lashed out at someone. She had remembered hearing something about a bar right before the ship took off.
At last she tracked down the bar, finding a seat, and leaning over the counter, using her elbows to prop herself up. Her fluffy tail waved behind her as she tried to get the bartenders attention. "Do you have anything... creamy?" She asks Himeros.

 The Goddess of Beauty.

She certainly didn't feel like any of those roles fit her anymore. Aglaia sat in her stateroom, sitting at her vanity to fix herself up. It took a bit of magic to bring a glow to the Goddess' face. She feared the worst on this trip. If Eris somehow boarded, they were trapped in the middle of the ocean with her, with no escape. How could mother do this to me? Pothos wasn't assigned anywhere near the salon so she couldn't stick by him. She feared for him too. She silently prayed that her father, the God of War was on this ship. He could beat Eris. If he was ever around.
She pinched her cheeks lightly to bring a little color back and stood up. She checked her profile, sucked in her tummy and then straightened her little bow tie. One final glance in the mirror and she noticed chocolate on her pillow. A lot of chocolate. No one would know if she just ate one ... or all, of them. Chocolate was soothing after all, so maybe eating it all would help her anxiety.
She arrived in the salon around the same time the ship set sail. Both of her daughters were already there, cleaning and preparing for the voyage and getting every set out and nicely displayed for the patrons. They looked so cheerful, Aglaia only wished she could feel that again. Instead, for this week, she'd have to be the best actress she could be.
Oh this was going to take some work.

There was a host of cherubs also in the salon to help out, which was a bit of relief to Aglaia because it meant less hands-on than she was thinking when she first read the ship's manifest.
The first pae arrived and she greeted them kindly.
"Welcome! I hope you are enjoying the trip so far. I am Aglaia, and these are my daughters, Aliza and Zuleika."
"We have two very skilled little cherubs with magic fingers just waiting to give you two a massage." She smiled and escorted the pae towards the massage tables.
Hovering by the tables are twin cherubs (don't they all look alike anyway?) with little blond wigs on. They're wringing their hands together, working the oil to get ready. With obviously fake, stereotyped Swiss accents, they welcome the first passengers to partake of their specialty. "Welcome to da spa. I am Olga and dis is Bob."
The pink goddess smiled nervously when she saw the cherubs. This was new.
