It's different... in Shounen Ai-anime I like ukes better, because all semes are so boring. But I don't like that seme-uke system... I don't believe it has to be one seme and one uke. Both can be on the same level. So well, I don't know ^^

i like those "tough guy" ukes because there's always a seme that can "dominate" them but the ukes still keep the seme in line
example: Squall as uke and Seifer as seme (from final fantasy 8 )

I'm sorry, but I just couldn't decide. I guess I love both. No matter I guess, really. But, if I really had to choose, I'd say seme, because I'm a bit of an uke myself^^

Uke's are so cute! Especially the ones that act like they are all that every other day but when they are in bed with a seme... -will not continue that thought- - will not comtinue that thought- awh what the heck. When they are in bed with a seme they are really submissive and has the whole 'jelly knees' thing going on. *grin* Don't blame me. Blame the hormones.

personally, I like semes more, mostly because I suck at being a seme myself.

I prefer the seke types myself. For me in relationships it's all about the sharing and exploration of each other. There shouldn't be preset definitions for behavior. It should be about love and what feels right at the time.
