"Of course. He doesn't have anyone to look after him like I look after you."

"I can't believe I let him bother me, then." Olan probably laughed, he couldn't tell. All he knew was that he didn't feel so bad anymore.

"I'm glad you're feeling better now." He smiled.

Olan nodded in agreement. "I just hope he doesn't say anything else to me."  

[Rent_junkie]

"If you don't look at him you can't know anything he says. Or you can come stay in my room."

Olan perked up at the last sentence. "You mean I don't have to go back to my cell?" he asked hopefully. "I can really stay with you?"

He nodded. "Yes really." He liked the idea of Olan staying with him too.

He practically beamed now. No more lonely nights in the cell! "But won't you need to explain why I'll be staying with you?"

"no the other gaurds will just make up their own reasons."

As concerned as he still was, Olan decided not to say anything more. If the guards tried to condemn him, Marco would make a good reason to counter them.

"So do you want to go there now? I'm done working for today."  

[BrokenScreamBox]

"Let's go! Let's go!" Olan signed, almost too quickly even for him to understand.

He smiled and chuckled softly. He placed an arm around Olan's shoulders and lead him to his room.

He was actually moving, if that was the right term for it. Did that mean there might be a day Olan would finally leave this place? That was probably as likely as him getting his hearing back.
