The minis are so well sculpted I am tempted by the pointed earies myself now ! 3nodding
And they finally did minis for the Lothern Seaguards, good thing to me because they appear to be one of the most efficient infantery unit of the whole game (bow AND spear ? You gotta be kiddin' eek )

I know right bows to stand and shoot as well spears usually some army's don't have two special weapons so far that I know about.

I got all the army book and no unit combine suche dread weapons. Should you stay away or come closer, you're dead anyway, and with the new rules, just think how much damages a horde of those guy can deal...

Its better because the lore of shadows have Okkam's mindrazor so it would be even more of a worry for the opponent but you only fight with only two ranks but its still worth it strength 8 attacks using their minds.

okkams mindrazor plus swordmasters (2 attacks each) = slaughter

Yeah but they already have strength five so its made for large weak units definitely scary if they are being used on little critters like with high leadership. Wait I'm not so sure if there is a critter unit that has high leadership.

empire militia has good enough - 7 ... and 2 attacks each due to extra hand weapon
dark elves spearmen have 8 and extra rank to use, plus hatred
corsairs are bit costlier, but have extra hand weapon for 2 attacks
witch elves... 3 attacks each for frenzy and extra hand weapon... if they go first with mindrazor -which is likely with i6 - ouch!
but those are outside high elves
closest thing to horde in high elf army are spearmen

Little critters with high leadership then go to Skaven. Clanrats with multiple ranks then they get a high leadership.

I think unmodified ld is used by mindrazor, and that isnt high in skaven armies...

Stubborn also says unomified, and still Skaven get to use their bonus for that.

Personally I will look into this matter when I got time... Would be nice to know.

anyway, can skaven use mindrazor, or they are using their own lore?

I'm assuming they can and yes no modifiers to their leadership only their base leadership for the effect of the mindrazor.

Still, with high elves spearmen, a horde of 50 of 'em means 51 attack with first strike and reroll fail to hit. That is merely might, whether charging or being charged.
