i didnt mind though. I REALLY liked the Circle of Magic and the Circle Opens series. Trisana Chandler is my favorite character out of the four. I think I like her the most cuz she's the most like me out of the four.
But I also usually like the weather mage type (at least the controlling wind part. Aang in Avatar is my fav character too).

I just started reading the Circle Of Magic books (on the third) and I must say I am now a major Tamora Peirce fan! the thing is though I accidently read the Trickster books before Alanna's series. Should I still read them or not bother since I know how stuff turns out for her?

Yes you should still read them because there is a lot of stuff inside the books that aren't even touched on in the Trickster's series. if you want to go in order first read the Song of the Lioness series, then the Immortals series, then Protector of the small series, then the Tricksters series, and after that theirs the book Terrier (can't remember what the series is called). That should be all of her books in the Tortall world.

A new book about Briar, Rosethorn, and Evie comes out soon! Excited! I feel like I've been hearing about this one for years, via her old ten-year book schedule, which I believe has been deleted off her page because it was so obviously not happening.

I'm still waiting for a book about Maura of Dunlath. <.<

The Lioness series has like a dozen different cover versions now. I keep seeing them and think "Oh, look a new book!" Nope! Just another cover version of Alanna's tale.

Me too. That was probably my least-favorite plot twist ever. I feel like it wasn't in-character for Tunstall at all.

Even though I knew it was a giant stretch, I also wanted Beka to end up with Rosso (Rosco? I cannot remember his name anymore!) because then George would have been related to a former King of Thieves and I like the full-circle kind of thing that would 've created. XD

I wanted them to get together too. They were a good match. But I want to say that it was stated in the fist book that they never got together. (Though I could be making that up.)

I don't remember that plot twist at all. I really need to go back and reread Mastiff... or it's possible I didn't read it and just think I did.... sweatdrop

Sooooooo according to Amazon, her new book came out. So I guess they released it a few weeks earlier than the last release date I saw? Maybe I'll get it eventually...
