I remember the Tomb Stalker to be described like this in the Medusa campaign:
Quote: The Cadian 12th, along with a detachment of Imperial Fists Astartes, a Baneblade and two mighty Warlord titans from the Legio Skarlos have encountered a vast Necron force on the ash wastes of Battle Zone Hydra. The Necrons had already been gathering in numbers by the time the warriors and epic war machines of the beloved Emperor drew the Xenos into battle. Their forces included many Obelisks, waves of Destroyers and a large – and never before seen – mechanical spider-like creature with a massive glowing thorax. The fighting was fierce, with the Imperial Fists acquitting themselves well by destroying at least five of the Obelisks. Unfortunately the Baneblade was lost due to the destructive might of the spider-shaped abomination. We do have low-res pict captures of this Necron construct but my mentors in Ordo Xenos have censored these.
And
Quote: NECRONS Sealed deep within the hidden vaults under the Edafos, once accessible only from within Edethor's Mouth, lies the Crypt Stalker . This creation of ancient purposes is likened to a Tomb Spyder of gargantuan proportions. Aeons ago, this Necron creature was defeated and sealed in by the Old Ones, but now, the mining operations of the Imperials, having crossed the Edafos, have reached the vicinity of the ancient tombs and are breaking those seals down; the still-dormant Crypt Stalker begins to wake.

A non-GW preview of a nice product coming soon! Warlord games is a nice British company that specializes in historical ranges, both in pewter and more and more these days, in plastic. From the Roman Empires to the War of the Roses, they've got everything covered, including World War 2 and best of all, it's all in 28mm!
After releasing their plastic Wehrmacht Germans (25 models per box) they decided to add some allied forces to the mix, in this case plastic British / Canadian infantry:
"Our first plastic set in the Bolt Action WWII range, the German Infantry, have gone down an absolute storm with you all. Now we have something a bit special for those who are wanting to build their own allied force of British or Canadians! This set has a huge number of options – we’ll be showing off more of the 3-up builds in coming weeks as we prepare for the big release.
The first thing to note is the helmets are separate to the heads. As we all know the British Tommy wasn’t one for standing on ceremony and wore his battle bowler in all manner of angles – the more slovenly the better! Included in the set are the iconic Mk I tin hat and the later Mk III ‘turtle’ helmet – and there are netted, scrim-covered and plain versions. It also means a vast variety of combinations can be made in your army before you even consider arm and weapon options…
As you’d expect the British weapon sprue contains all the equipment you’d expect to see – Bren guns, Sten guns, SMLEs, Webley pistols, etc. The NCO below is clipping a new magazine into his Sten ready to hose Jerry down with hot lead…"
