How Much Do You Spend On Anime and/or Manga?

I go to my local anime/manga store. They've got really low prices and a lot of stuff to choose from.


An import DVD that usually has good English subtitles = $8
American-liscensed DVDs = $22

Manga = $6.50.

Mostly everything else they have is $10 or less. Wallscrolls, soundtracks, keychains, etc.


It's great.

Because of it, I'm able to buy a lot of stuff at a time without really depleting my income of sorts.

But I didn't spend that much, thankfully.

i spend about $100 at some conventions though

Yeah. I know what you mean.

There's another anime store just down the street from the one I usually go to, but their prices are typicallly more expensive, and they don't have as big a selection.

And anywhere else I might go to buy anime or manga or anything, the prices are ridiculously high. gonk

first i have to acquire the means of paying for my anime/manga. i spend about $10 a book on manga and $20-$50 an anime at a time. but...*dramatic pause*...at my local anime store i get 25% discount off the cover price on any manga, so its all cool^^ and i can get entire series for like $25 if i look hard enough

about 300$ i buy manga once or twice a month. i rarely get a chance to buy anime dvds. i also buy the monthly issues of shonen jump and shoujo beat. i spend alot during december because of christmas everyone loves christmas! mrgreen

i only buy anime never manga any more i just read all the manga i can in the stores. anime i spend form 5 dollars to 100 dollars buying them. matters if i get a full series or just one used anime DVD. i am so broke right now crying

I rather wait till an anime convention is around and go there.
I got 3 complete 24-26 episode anime collection for only $60.00!
I also got 10 mangas for $35.00!! biggrin
