Outside my comfort zone (Romance RP: Tir Malice and DNCStar)

[Tir Malice]

"Well, if we did, it wouldn't be your fault." He shook his head. "Truth is, I don't know. I've never been very comfortable with it . . . but then, she is kind of a control freak . . . "  

[DncStar]

Marley sighed. "But if you never met me... you would never break up with her. So in a way it is my fault." She nodded her head sadly and sighed, getting to her feet. "Though I do like the thought of being with you. I just don't want you to hurt Lei."  

[Tir Malice]

He stood and hugged her then, a holding her tight to him. "Its not your choice to make, whether or not I break up with her. Its something that I've almost done a couple of times." He squeezed her a little. "The only thing that is your choice is whether or not you get together with me after."

Marley smiled softly, wrapping her arms around him gently and burying her face in his chest. "I will. I want to."

Madison leaned down and kissed her cheek. "Just give it some time. I need a little time to think, and to break the news to her."  

[DncStar]

Marley nodded softly. "Alright. I can wait. I've waited a long time to begin with... I don't think it'll hurt now." She joked, smiling a bit.

He held her tight for a little bit, until he could feel her falling back asleep on his shoulder. He held her at arms length then. "I think you should go back to sleep now, What's today? I've lost track, do we have school tomorrow?"

Marley smiled softly and nodded. "Yeah. Schools tomorrow." She giggled. "It's nearly 10 at night." She broke from his grasp. "Good night." She whispered, before going back to her room.

He returned to his room, undressed and climbed in bed. For some reason, he was more at peace here than he had been at home. He drifted to sleep quickly.

Marley woke the next morning and dressed in a pair of jeans and a sweater. She sighed as she peered at herself in the mirror. "Last night was a dream." She decided and went down to the dining room.

Madison was already downstairs eating when she came down. "Wow . . . you've got to have some of this Eggs Beni-whatever its called. Its great!"

He dug in as she sat down. "Um . . . about last night . . . "

Marley laughed. "Yeah they do make really good Eggs Bennedict. I prefer my waffles with fresh strawberries and whipped cream though." She grinned as she sat down. "Yeah... Last Night..."

Madison nodded. "I just want you to know that I meant what I said . . . "

He took a bite. "Just give me some time, ok?"

Marley nodded. "I totally thought I dreamed that." She giggled softly. "Guess not." She shrugged and nodded. "Of course."

Madison smiled. "I think I know what is going to happen."

He laughed. "Only one problem with the whole situation . . . "
