Well, as I somewhat expected Frontlines wasn't great, just good. Maybe I will rent it sometime in the future. Meantime, that just lets me save more money I can use on other games this year. Everyone tells me that I need to get Call of Duty 4, but I have other priorities first, perhaps I can score a copy later this year that has hit the bargain bin. I'm also looking at this new game called APB (I don't know what it stands for) that is a non-traditional MMO from the makers of Crackdown, and it will be similar.
So I was supposed to get my Xbox back today but the FedEx a*****e decided to drop buy during the standard workday, so obviously no one was home. I don't really know why they do that, because they should know that there is slim chance that the owner of the package will be there. I have to look around my area now for the FedEx center to pick it up.
And since I don't feel like going over to the 40k forum, and DoW is still a videogame, I'd discuss the Soulstorm Demo. I finally downloaded it and figured out how to operate it. I agree with you guys, I don't like the voices, they irritate me, and especially since every warrior or wynch screams out some stupid threat every 2 seconds I was pulling my hair out. I am disappointed in the Dark Eldar, they are way too fragile, and I can't sustain a fight with so few numbers. They are supposed to use moral better than other races, but I had a hard time scarring Space Marines. The Space Marine Commander practically ripped my Archon and his rag-tag assortment of groupies, and then proceeded to rip through a warrior squad. I was excited to check out the raiders ability to scatter and demoralize troops, but it didn't quite have the effect that I was hoping for.
Oh, and air units suck.

APB = All Points Bulletin. Personally I am waiting for the Agency to be released this year, again a non-standard MMO for PC and consoles, but pitting spies and mercenaries against one another.

I thought that was a PS3 Exclusive.

I thought it was called Splinter Cell.

Correction, the Agency will be PC and PS3 only. Seeing as I don't have the latter due to a smattering lack of good games it'll be the pc version most likely.

Splinter Cell is more or less becoming an X360 thing only. The current addition to the game, Conviction is slated as being a 360, PC and DS exclusive, all other platforms are told to be get lost.

On a sadder note though (not for me really), EA has pushed back the European release of Rock Band by half a year, so instead of March we ought to get it around the end of Autumn around here. Main reason for this seems to be that EA fears that the sales in the US are so stellar that all production is geared towards domestic use first, so that there is no shortage of plastic guitars and drum kits.

I read that 1,000 copies of the Special Edition Rock Band were stolen at gunpoint in my OXM magazine.

play devil may cry, you might like it as much as me xp

Devil May Cry would be w hole lot more fun if A: Dante was more in it instead of Nero or B: you really were the playable character.

Scene It? has finally been released here and about time too! If you are looking for a casual party game for up to four players that comes complete with four wireless buzzers and game for less than $60,- Scene It? is a good choice. Plenty of good stuff in it with some bite-sized b*****d segments in between.

Also some of the cheapest achievements ever unless you count that Avatar game.

I'm not into those turn-based animated games, the only RPG's I like are Knights of the Old Republic and of course ME. I have Scene It? the board game, my mom and I play it every once and a while but it isn't satisfying to me because a lot of the movies were a long time ago and the questions suck. Is the Xbox version any better?

I did get my Xbox back on Wednesday and played a good solid 2 hours of ME. I got the Hacking and Damping Specialist achievements within the first half-hour. I also got the Soldier Companion achievement as well, which caused me to start to get worried since I didn't get the Krogan one at the same time. My thought process was "crap, since I started with Wrex later, how many more quests do I have to do with him?". All I had to do was walk to some guy in front of the Flux club and tell him that he's a drug addict.

Turn-based animated RPG's? We're talking about Devil May Cry, not Lost Odyssey or Final Fantasy.

Oh, I guess I don't really know what Devil May Cry is then.

Indeed. Just because it comes from Japan does not automatically mean that it is a turn-based "animated" RPG.

As for Scene It?, it has a lot of stuff that I have never seen or heard before, but that makes it all the more fun in my opinion. It is also a good excuse to see the movies unseen as of yet.

Getting to level 60 is proving to be a very lengthy and arduous task, I might have to do most of the game just to have gone up 9 levels, since I've already done Noveria, Feros, and Virmire. I recently tried to go for the remaining biotic achievements with the adept class on hardcore difficulty. The gameplay didn't seem much harder until I got to a planet and raided a base. After several tries I decided to tone down the difficulty back to normal and try hardcore with a character that is geared more towards taking punishment rather than flinging magic.
After I 100% ME I don't know what I'm going to play.

If you play call of duty 4 at one point a SAS commando by the name of "Mac" dies a horrible death by tank. Need I say more? twisted
