Finally, I think I'm back for good! Updates will likely be sporadic, and my goal is kinda vague, but I think for now it's the best way to go.
Keep Me Running (title subject to change) New goal: Finish novel by America, 2011. Update date: 03/01/2011 Words: 2,331 Pages: 4
I want this thing completed before I go to America in the summer to study abroad for the school year.

Thanks! It's good to be back. This was the first thing I'd written since NaNo. And it's strange how amazing I feel this morning after a late-night session! Ah, writing really is what I'm meant to do. XD
I'll be spending my next academic year at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. ^^ But during the summer I'm hopefully going to get some kind of bus, trains and planes deal through the southern states and across to CA. I want to travel as much as possible.

lol I almost know the feeling.. I've found myself in first person for the main character and it's so hard Dx ..I'm gonna switch out as soon as I finish the chapter, probably. I dunno.. -flails arms- hard to believe 's been 4 years 11 months about since I did writing in it
Ah I see -nods- g'luck at Chapel Hill. Heh traveling is fun, there are lots of places to go. It's been about ten to twenty since I've gone on summer car trips with the grandparents to see things around the US.. -sigh- kinda miss that

Wow, that's a long time! I'm trying to write in first person again with this project, too. It used to be my favourite, and I'm trying to get back that fun sense of "Why the hell should it matter what I write anyway, if it's just for me?" I'm kind of enjoying it, but it's going to take a loooot of work to get back into the swing of things.
Man, that sounds great. Living in the UK I don't travel much. I mean, I've been a lot of places, but not of the scale of travelling that you can do in the US.
I didn't write today, but I did much-needed school work, so I'm back on track. ^^

Heh yeah, most of my books have been started back in 2002.. but there are some later ones.. mainly though my ideas on point have been from '02 to '10 just waiting to be complete.. aaa forever it takes to get everything done cause I keep coming up with new stuff xD; I wrote first person back in '08 for the Drag Shergi Mysteries, but that was detective so it was easy because of the genre's narrative flow. This thing with Metal Man is all different.. it takes way too much concentration for my mind right now lol
Yeah in the US we have a ton of space to travel across.. I've not been traveling .. well other than to visit family I haven't traveled more than about two hour away since I left college in '05...
I got my schedule for the next two weeks.. looks like we're going to have a lighter schedule.. ack though a second person quit so.. ack ack ack might be more time away again from being able to write.. I haven't gotten to write much of anything today

You can do it, Chan! Sometimes a nice challenge is refreshing and can teach you things you'd not really thought much about before. Especially something like narrative voice, which often gets overlooked. :3
Yeah, I can't wait to get a taste of American culture more than anything. Small-town life and all that. It's what I'm most excited for, because I'm hoping the travelling will broaden my writing in terms of experience and education.

That's my plan. :3
I'm hopefully going to be able to write later, but it depends on how much uni work I get done. Fingers crossed!
