She settles in the seat next to Brat and buckles up. Stifling a yawn, she looks over at Brat.

"I was gonna give you some details from my afternoon, but it'll have to wait until I get some shut-eye. wink "

*takes the coke from her and nods, taking a sip of it* Thanks. *looks down at Thistle for a moment, rubbing some of her purple hair between his fingers* Actually, I wanted to talk about something you said the other night. You probably don't remember, since you were unconscious. It was after Thistle said hi to you, and Velcore and I were taking you home.  

[Lil Brat]

*Brat settles in to her seat, flicking occasional glances at their escort. Other than their crew of 4, the only others on the flight are the escort and the pilots. She's not really surprised. It is Ivan providing the crew and he's inclined to believe the fewer people involved, the better it's kept quiet.*

*Smiles at Kat* Look forward to hearing about it. Probably should get a nap in before we arrive.

((I'm sure the galley is fully stocked with food and liquor. We'll just have to self-serve. wink ))

Amy laughed softly and shook her head. "Oh wow that was embarrassing. Thank you again for taking such good care of me and bringing me home. I knew Velcore could talk, but learning that Thistle could, too, or is at least learning to, knocked me for a loop."

She looked at Karrie and leaned back on the couch. "I'm almost afraid to ask, but what did I say while I was unconscious?"

*still looking down at Thistle* You said... something about not wanting to kiss me until we went on a date. *glances up at her*

Flame Knightmaer

-while remembering his last "meal" with dame, a devious grin playing on his lips, his phone buzzes. Pulling it out, he shakes his head while reading dames text. It was as if the woman knew when he was thinking about her. He shoots one back to her, turning his phone off afterwards-

Msg to dame

Goodnight love and I miss you too. I don't know about sweet dreams, but sweet thoughts are what I'm having right now. Got any chocolate left? twisted Turning my phone off for now. Will text when I can.

-sighing, he leans his seat back and settles down for some rest hopefully before they get to their destination. This was going to be a hard, rough and long journey, and the consequences either way could be monumental and detrimental to any and all of them. He hoped for all their sakes that this could be handled with the best of precision and more importantly, dame never getting wind of it. Closing his eyes, he let her invade his thoughts, and soon his dreams-

Amy's eyes widened to the size of saucers and her breath seemed to stick in her lungs. Oh God... She had said that?! Holy crap... Yeah, she felt that way, but she couldn't believe that she had said it out-loud.

Her cheeks were bright red and she was staring at her lap. Her voice was soft and it broke the first time she tried to speak, so she had to try again.

"I did? Huh... Well, uh, if it embarrassed you, I'm really sorry, Karrie."  

[Chef_Karrie]

Actually, it made me curious. *watches her reaction without being obvious and looking directly at her* Should I take that to mean that you might be interested in dating me?

Amy was in a tricky situation. She wanted to be honest with Karrie and tell him that she was, but she also didn't want to be the one to admit her feelings first. She had done that with Kai and Dec and they hadn't really ended that well. Actually, she liked her time with Kai, but it hadn't lasted. She was all for being open, honest and taking charge of a situation, but she was beginning to realize that in a romantic relationship, that might not be the best for her.

"Well, I..."

She sighed and curled one of her legs up onto the couch and faced Karrie. She finally lifted her head and looked him in the eye, his beautiful and mysterious gray eyes. Not many people had gray eyes.

"I'm nervous to say anything. I don't want to be the first one to say how I feel. Not again. It usually doesn't turn out well if I am."  

[Chef_Karrie]

*seeing how uncomfortable she seems, he looks directly at her* I asked because... I am. If you're not comfortable with that, I understand. *not knowing what else to say, lifts his coke to take another drink, then sets it down without drinking any*

Amy looked back up at Karrie and a small smile was appearing on her lips. Her eyes were starting to shine as well.

"You do? Really? I... I hoped you did, but lately, I didn't know if you wanted to or not. I know that a lot of stuff has happened to you lately and I was just afraid that I was another part of your life that you weren't sure of."

She blushed again and looked down at her lap. She wasn't sure she wanted to, but she had to ask the next question. She had to know. "And... you're sure you don't just see me as a really good friend?"  

[Chef_Karrie]

*combs his fingers through Thistle's hair for a moment while he considers his response* A lot has happened lately, but I wouldn't have brought this up tonight if I wasn't sure. For a while, I did see you as just a good friend, but since I've been spending more time with you and getting to know you better, I found that changing. I wasn't sure what you would think, since it hasn't been that long since I broke up with Dame.

Thistle whinnied softly and turned on her stomach in her sleep as Karrie continued to play with her hair.

Amy tilted her head to the side slightly and played with the end of the scarf wrapped around her waist.

"You're right. It hasn't been that long. And I'm nothing like Dame. Maybe..."

She sighed and then said softly, "Maybe you're going for the exact opposite of her in hopes to move on faster."
