Gikishou smiled. "It's also to celebrate them coming back from their trip safely.ANd it'll make mom happy." Gikishou told him.

And just like that, Kyo was no longer troubled. He couldn't believe that he didn't hear that before. Well, now he can be assured that there was at least one better reason.

Gikishou considered that an assent and went to make the banana spits, smiling. He brought them out and served them, eating his own excitedly.

Kyo stared at his banana split, examining the contents of the apparent desert. Since it was called a banana split, he hadn't expected that there would actually be ice cream there.

Gikishou smiled, watching his look of surprise. "It's safe to eat, I promise." He teased.

Hesitantly, Kyo scooped up a bit of the desert and tasted it. For a strange combination of ingredients, it was okay.

Gikishou grinned as they all ate their own, happy. Once everyone finished, he put the bowls in the sink and washed them, humming lightly as he did so.

Now Kyo sat in the room, just taking a little break. He probably should update the doujinshi, especially since the biggest question was already solved. Would there be any time to update today? Maybe not.

Gikishou came back, sitting next to him. "Do you want to do anything else?" He asked, smiling.

"I don't know," Kyo replied, trying to think of something else to do. "Maybe we can play another game?"

Gikishou smiled. "Sure. Do you know how to play uno?"

Kyo shook his head. He really didn't know how to play a lot of games, really.

Gikishou's mom smiled. "We each get seven cards, then take one card from the deck and lay it down. The cards that we put down have to be either the same color or number of the card at the top of the pile." She explained, dealing the cards.

"Okay, it sounds simple enough," Kyo said, watching as the cards were being given randomly to everyone. He wondered if he would be able to do well in this game as he did in Scrabble. This game was one of matches, yes, but how simple are the rules exactly?

"If you don't have the color or number, you draw until you do. If someone only has one card in their hand, you have to say 'uno' before they do, or they get to keep that one card. If you say it before them,they draw two cards. There are cards that have 'effects' as well, but what they do is easy to understand."
