Leon took too long in his swing, and his eyes widened as the ball rocketed under his head and slammed into his chest. It forced the air out of his lungs, and knocked him off his broom. Thankfully, he was close enough to the ground and didn't fall far, but he was still out cold when he landed.

Heard don't move unless you know someone you can move... And I bruise just like anyone would bruise. And I know we've got a long way to go; I know I've got so far- We built this house with our hands, and our time, and our blood! You build this up in one day to fall downward and rust! You tried to emphasize and side with both your ghosts... In time I swore I'd take the straight and narrow path but still won't.
Vander probably should have reprimanded Rich and McGregor for their idiocy before things got too out of hand, but to tell the truth it had almost been amusing. Now it was somewhat less amusing, since McGregor had managed to knock himself out, so Vander reluctantly dove in to try to catch him, not that it was very necessary, as he realized when he got close enough that the boy hadn't had very far to fall. With some effort he managed to drag the third year over to the stands, and expecting him to rouse himself soon enough, said only, "Maybe next time widen your field of targets a bit, and this won't happen." He handed Leon a potion or two, instructed him to sit out and drink them for a while, slowly, and got back up in the air to continue 'supervising'.

xxx The bludger slammed into his thigh, causing Jack to cry out in shock. Leon was still trying to take him out, even after being reprimanded by the vice captain. This was getting ridiculous, he'd have to sort out Leon and his issues soon because if this was how it was during practice, Jack feared what a game would be like for them in the future.
But when Leon went to try and hit someone else, he screwed up his timing. The bludger slammed the older boy in the chest, causing Jack to wince. Leon was already looking pretty rough, much like Jack himself felt now. Normally laughing at Leon for screwing up, Jack flew down close with Vander to make sure he was alright. Sure, he felt like they had a sort of rivalry going on the pitch, but he still didn't want to see him seriously injured. Make sure that Leon was alright, he nodded to Vander and launched back into the sky. He locked onto the nearest bludger and sought his target, one of the green team chasers that he knew better than the others. Raymond was going to get it for interfering with Savannah's possession. With a mighty effort, he slammed his bat against the bludger to send it whizzing towards Raymond with a hopefully painful result.

Aimee hadn't spotted the snitch, but she did spot Leon getting knocked out. She grimaced, but Vander caught him and handed him some potions, so Aimee figured he was fine and went back to looking for the snitch.

Kyson heard the whack of a bat against a bludger, but didn't think anything of it. Suddenly, Savannah came in out of nowhere and snatched the ball away from him. In the same second, a bludger smacked him in the hip, the crack of bone echoing in his head. Bloody hell! Shaking off his pain and clenching his teeth instead, Kyson flew forward, heading for Savannah. He reached his arm out and tried to take the ball back.

Rey cheered internally when Macclellan was hit and Savannah Hastings stole the quaffle. She rose up higher to survey the field, wincing when she saw McGregor get knocked off his broom; she would've flown down to help but Rich and the captain handled it.
Noticing that Savannah was almost at the goal post, Rey went to help her. She flew towards a bludger and swung her bat, aiming at the green keeper, Blake.
