Rumors and Plants (NightWerewolf here)

"Hey." Alex laughed when she grabbed his head but got up. "Good, it smells great." He said with a smile.

Eva sat down at the table and began to eat. "Wait till you try it." She smiled. Riley curled up in the corner and soon fell asleep. "So what are we doing this weekend? Remind me again? I know we're inviting our families over but what exactly are we doing?"

Alex sat down and took a few bites. He looked up at her and nodded. "Yeah our familes are coming over so we can tell them that you're pregnant. And it's going to be a BBQ."

"Got it. I'll call them in the morning." She told him. They finished their dinner and Eva placed their plates in the dish washer. She sat on his lap and wrapped her arms around him as she rested her head on his shoulder.

Alex nodded and picked her up. He kicked his chair so it was pushed in and then went to the living room. He lied down on the couch and smiled up at her.

Eva smiled at him and kissed him quickly. "So, tell my love. What is the one thing that you want? Besides me and the baby or babies I should say since we're going to have more in the future."

"Okay... well that takes away anything I could ever hope for." Alex laughed and thought for a moment or two. "The one thing that I want... well I wouldn't mind for us to live long lives and our children to be healthy. Unless that doesn't count either."

She giggled and shook her head. "No, that doesn't count. Something I can give you. Like a present or something. What is something I can buy you?" She asked him. "An awesome car maybe? A flat screen TV?........a bigger house?........a beach house in Malibu?" She jokingly named a few.

"Well in that case I may have to get back to you." Alex said, chuckling softly. "I do have one question though. Why do you want to get me something, you know you don't have to."

"I know, my darling. But I feel like loving you isn't enough for me. I want to do more for you. That's how much I care for you." She moved a piece of his hair out of his face and smiled at him. "Maybe I'll get you a Lamborghini." She thought aloud.

Alex nodded softly and smiled back at her. "How about you surprise me?" He said and kissed her softly. "And just for the record my love. I know just how you feel."

Eva snuggled closer to him and felt paw prints jump on her. She turned to Riley and grabbed the cat. "How about we get a dog?" She jokingly asked Alex. "Would you like that Riley?" She asked the car. Riley licked her hands. "Oh, so you do want a dog. Ow!" Eva said once Riley had bitten her. "Ok, so we won't get a dog, geez." Riley lied down in between them and Eva glared at the cat. "Hey, he's mine little missy." Riley rolled over so that her back was facing Alex.

Alex laughed watching the two. "Talk about a cat fight, literally." He chuckled and took the hand that Riley had bitten and kissed her wound. "All better? He asked her quietly and looked down at the cat. "And you." He said sternly. "I'd prefer you didn't bite my wife." He then smiled. "Good thing I can't stay mad at you."

Eva smiled at Alex kissed her hand. "Yes, all better thank you darling." Riley licked Alex and she jumped off the couch. Eva snuggled closer to Alex and giggled. "Much better."

Alex nodded and hugged her tightly. "Anytime babe." He smiled and kissed her softly. "You know what we could get, a den. Just a little room with a fireplace and stuff?" He asked her happily.
