Actually,
I was going to post the link to that page once the answer was
posted.

Thanks so much for answering.
I HATE to "assimilate" the questions.

It was one odd moment when I was coming home from work, when it
hit me that cats are "EXOTHERMIC quadrupeds", not
"ENDOTHERMIC quadrupeds", which is a mistake Data wouldnt make.

An "endothermic" quadruped would take IN heat, and thus feel COLD
to the touch, since it would pull in the heat from your hand.

An "exothermic" quadruped gives OFF heat. Anyone who's had a cat
fall asleep in their lap can tell you a cat feels warm, as it gives OFF
heat.

The "bragging rights" answer is funnier once you see the clip.
(That website has the "I WILL FEED HIM" clip as well as Riker reciting
the poem in "A Fistful of Datas". When you watch the Riker clip,
watch Jonathan Frakes' face closely. He really emotes the scene well.
He's supposed to be reading lines from a play, and not realizing that
the lines were switched with the poem.
So he's handed the lines, he looks at them, and you can read his
mind. "THESE are my LINES? Ok..."
*begins emoting and reciting lines in a bold voice*
"Felis cattus is your taxonomic nomenclature..."

I thought that was GREAT, especially since it takes your SECOND time
seeing the scene to appreciate it. smile

I also loved that they "rewarded" the longtime fans, since the poem was
now a few years old.

NEW question!

This is a DS9 question.

Quark once lost his license to do business with other Ferengi.
What was the cause?

----
Bragging rights question:
In the process, Quark violated a Rule of Acquisition.
What does that rule state?
(No, you don't have to give the rule's number.)

The cause was that he broke a contract with another ferengi
The rule was "That a contract is a contract is a contract, except with another ferengi"

Correct!

Brunt trapped him into it.
Quark believed he was going to die, and offered his dessicated remains
on the open market. Brunt (who had arranged Quark to think he was
dying) set up a blind bid and made a deal for the remains, then
demanded Quark turn over his body and honour the deal.
Quark originally planned to do it, but changed his mind.

How stupid I have become? Why didn't I remember that episode?
*smacks head with keyboard*

Wasn't it the one that started with Garak killing an holographic Quark? And Quark complained because he didn't like the way he was going to die?

That was about 1/2 way thru the episode. He wanted to hire Garak
to assassinate him, but they reviewed holograms of various methods
of death, and Quark hated them all. Eventually, he settled on
"don't let me see it coming."

Still waiting on an answer to this one....
Captain Jean-Luc Picard likes a simple breakfast, as does Dr. Beverly Crusher. Croissants and Coffe.

Ok, here's an Enterprise Question:

Name any of Dr. Phloxx's Wifes. For memory, too.

==
PostPosted: Thu Jun 23, 2005 12:17 pm
Name them? I don't even know how many they are!

Sorry, I do not follow Entreprise. I had my issues with the show during the firsts episodes and I not even watched the complete first season. sweatdrop

Guess someone else has to answer that one.
