While I haven't gotten my hands on the last several paper backs- I am up to date on the web comics.

I could peg you as a Character if one was falling upon attitude alone. But you might not forgive me the assertion. wink

I will forgive, but only for a limited time, do tell quickly. surprised
You remind me of what I have seen of Gil.

World Traveler, Able to keep a Secret, intellegent- always being tested amongst other things.

I'm not sure there is anything to forgive...
For all his arrogant, spoiled, imperious pomp, he's not such a bad person.
And, it's always good to know I come off as an ego-maniac. wink

Anyone have issues with conkers?
I can substitute pine cones but conkers are definitely more appealing.

As in Buckeyes? Depends on what you are using them for.

have no idea what a buckeye is.
Horse chestnuts are what I'm talking about.
I use them for harvest charms.
Partially to keep the pointy eared in bred b*****d progeny of my Gods out and partially just to cash in on the harvest time for bringing good fortune into the house.

Would anyone else get the joke if I decorated with blue roses?
PostPosted: Thu Oct 05, 2006 5:22 pm
I would miss the joke, but just because I know too many eanings for the Rose... and would get confused, as there is more than one which could be pertinent, all things considered. sweatdrop

Tennessee Williams theme?

The "Blue Rose" was the name of the "pirate" ship in the last campaign I ran.

There's still, as far as I'm aware, no blue rose. My Gradnfather spent his entire gardening career trying to grow one. The best we managed was a hybrid rose but I can't remember what we used. All of my ideas failed.

In magic, blue roses can be used to petition certain Gods for wishes. They represent magic themselves and the achievment of the impossible.

The only blue rose I know of is blue due to fluids extracted from human livers.
