I'd have to say... Half of my friends don't like anime. TT__TT
But the other half, love anime, and about 3/4 of them like Yaoi. x33

out of 10, 3 of my friends likes it. it doesn't matter to me anyways, everyone is different, just because you like something that they don't like or approve, doesn't mean that you are weird. maybe they are the ones who are weird. sweatdrop xd xp

Most of my friends are girls but I never bother to ask them because they're not into anime and such. Plus I don't think they know I'm bi/gay (I'm not sure what I am) so it'll be weird asking.

I wonder why it is that once most people discover that you like yaoi they have a hard time grasping that you can like anything else? I've been noticing this a lot.

Sort of. I have a number of friends who are BIG slashers, but none of them really watch anime. I'm trying to lure them in by promising them lots of shounen-ai, but they're a bit skittish yet *bg*

I've discovered that popular mainstream opinion of anime is either pokemon type kids shows, or hentai perverted porn. And if you're not into kids shows or hardcore porn, what is there? Most people don't realise that there are actual fantastic, funny, interesting shows in the middle. I am determined to show them otherwise, however! xd

My friends adore Yaoi! And if they don't, they're at least open-minded enough to be able to tolerate it and not flame it.

If my friends weren't obsessed with it as much as me I think I would go insane not being able to talk about how hott this pairing and that pairing are. And what would we do during class if we couldn't have our handwritten Yaoi RPs?

None of my freinds know what it is (net-freinds not included), lucky for me sweatdrop I don't know if they would still want to be my freinds. They know I like manga & anime and that doesn't seem to bother them, actully the whole class knows. People in class started reading manga because I like it gonk I proberly won't ever tell them, but I think one of my freinds that already knew about manga & anime is on to me ninja but I just laugh it off when she says something whee ninja ninja ninja

Although it's very funny when I have yaoi images up on my MSN and my guy friend goes, "No, Emily!! p0rn is not for little girls!!" "It's not p0rn you idiot! It's just...fluff" "ewwww..." XD He's such a weirdo.

Some of my friends really like yaoi, others don't quite understand it, and then there are the people who don't even read often enough (or any fanfiction at all) and have no idea what it is. Sad isn't it?
