When Tsarzi came by to assist with the animals today, she found herself being beckoned by one of the adults from the space crew. She considered the offered task, and gave a nod and an affirmative. She could look after it. She was curious about what the egg was anyway, since if it belonged to any of the animals here, it would have been left to be cared for by them, not handed off to a troll.

During the process of digging out the foundation, they hit some weak wet soil, so they were currently working on undercutting it. Reluctantly, Tsarzi hung back and assisted with other small tasks, already knowing she wasn't up to the heavier work right then.

Passing by the residential blocks, Tsarzi noticed a couple trolls struggling to carry some colored glass across the grassy area. They nearly stumbled on some rocks when Tsarzi took note of them and she took the time to help guide them across the main paths to where they could get the glass cut down for us.

The process was going along well, transplanting the harder soil in place of the soft ground that would one day cause issues for the road if built over. Though more ready than she was previously, the older trolls were still by in large taking control of this process and she was left to do smaller tasks. Tsarzi listened in on their talks, taking note of what kind of soil they wanted, how much they dug around the soft bits, passively taking in the progress as she went about menial tasks to expedite the process.

A slow night of chores today. Tsarzi took her time watering and caring for the crops, pausing to stretch any sore muscles along the way. For now, as there weren't too many trolls about the fields, she chose to leave her headphones hanging around her neck, instead listening to the sounds of stalks and leaves brushing each other under the breeze. The calm was grounding.

The pace was really picking up with the building of the lusii housing, many workers motivated by the great amount of progress thus far. Tsarzi raised her eyebrows a little at the sight of the industrious work and readily joined in. Even over halfway there, there was plenty to do.

It was a minor annoyance but something Tsarzi could see becoming a problem in the future. Most trolls wore footwear, yes, but for those that did not, the bits of shattered glass on the gravel path could be quite a problem. Making a note to sanitize the small cuts running the soles of her feet shortly, Tsarzi hunted down a bag to pick up the shards and dispose of them with.

While wiring and work on insulation was being done, Tsarzi assisted in cleaning up and starting to lay down the flooring. Eventually she got up and stretched, making a positive note that things had some a long way on the building. Still plenty more to do, but soon it'd be done.

Riding off the renewed motivation from earlier, Tsarzi made rounds to the different hive blocks, helping patch and fix as she was needed. Maybe they wouldn't bee needed at any immediate point in time, but still they were important to have up and running when the settlement neared completion and trolls started settling in.

Tsarzi planned to go back to the lusus quarters and get more progress on that, but Lupos waylaid that plan, instead ushering her towards another building in progress that was still relatively early in its build. Seems some troll was handing out some baked treats and the scent caught Lupos's attention, thinking it'd be a good treat for his charge who needed to relax and take a break. Tsarzi took the bribe easily enough, knowing that the payment was to spend some time helping build the disaster shelter. After a breather, a food break, and listening to some chatter, Tsarzi set to her task, passing supplies and tools to the larger trolls that were getting things moved and set in place.

On her way back across the settlement, Tsarzi noted a cluster of kids desperately messing with a tarp and nails. She took a moment to observe the frantic movements, the furtive looks, the fumbling hands. Either they were up to something or had something to hide, the latter seeming more likely. Tsarzi approached, giving no warning as she silently approached and the trolls jumped when she seemingly appeared next to them, questioning what they were doing. Of course, the answer was plainly obvious when the tarp fell away from where they'd been attempting to pin it up to disguise a rather sizable hole that punctured the wall of the hive complex, not far from the water spout. One kind in particular looked rather more guilty than the rest, face blushing bright and eyes cast anywhere but Tsarzi's face.

Tsarzi gave a monotone hum, her stony expression doing nothing to settle the other kids's nerves as she took in the situation. She'd need to pull the guilty party aside and give them some advice on avoiding this in the future. And asking how exactly they'd managed to make that hole, it was rather odd that they'd even managed it.

Still, she had some kids to dress down for attempting to leave their work for another to handle and a new team to command into fixing it.

Tsarzi attentively shadowed a knowledgeable greenblood that had temporarily taken charge of the road construction. Tsarzi helped clear the way as they got the machinery fired up and went down the road to instruct the trolls working there to clear out and retrieve the hoses. In return, she was able to listen in on the under their breath stream of thoughts that gave her some rather valuable information on how the machinery and process worked.

Passing the under construction hiveblocks, Tsarzi paused when her eyes caught on a flaw in the forming structure. There, a couple floors up, was a row of smashed windows. Tsarzi breathed a sigh out her nose and diverted her path to go see about getting that set up to get taken care of and maybe clean it up herself. As she went, she eyed up the trolls around, considering who the culprit might be, though most likely, it was more kids that had an accident than anything malicious. Still.

Tsarzi took part in clearing the way for groups of trolls carrying the heavier supplies to the lusus quarters. She ushered and directed in a strict monotone that got the job done fairly well, and if that didn't work, the trolls bearing down behind her with supplies got them moving.
