Iordanes was satisfied that they were beginning to make a dent in the Naga's resolve. He was heartened by the number of ordinary Telrunyans that had joined the fight. He knew that Mother could be overbearing and pushy, but it was nice to see so many mortals cared enough about her to help take back her temple. She was the goddess of Love, after all, he supposed.

But then the Naga had received...reinforcements. And these were no pubescent snakelings. These new Naga were fully grown and looked like they meaned business! Super. Iordanes frowned and turned his attention to fighting these new serpents, worried that the ordinary mortals would be no match for them.

Adelphos scowled as more naga came to assist the ones already defiling his grandmother's temple. He was just about to go engage one of them when a flash of a certain demon's red coloring caught his eye. Ruby? What was she doing here? Helping defend Venus' temple, of course. He grinned fiercely and was about to go join forces with her when a naga moved up to attack her.

She seemed to be handling herself well enough, but a helping hand couldn't hurt, could it? Especially when this particular helping hand could freeze things. Concentrating his power in his hand, Adelphos came up at the dull red naga's side, reaching to grab his arm. He meant to freeze the naga's arm at the very least. If he was very lucky, his power would petrify the naga completely for a short time. He really should make more time to practice this stuff....

Who is engaged? random naga

Not being adept in the art of battle or fighting, Dylo felt rather useless in aiding with the war that was going on. But... he was self-sacrificial by nature, which could come into use. He would swoop and zip around to draw the attention of various Naga, providing himself as a distraction, as well as disarming those who may be wielding weapons, and not paying attention to his presence. If the reptilian creatures had their eyes off of their foes for even a second, it could provide leverage in that moment for his fellow comrades. The Naga were ferocious and relentless in their pursuit against his kin, and those fighting for them... merciless, even. The way they went at his allies was near barbaric in the rather solemn deity. He'd almost forgotten what such extreme discord could look like, having been far too caught up in the world of peace. Maybe it was his own downfall in that way that he could not be of more use.

Satisfied that her bonk to the head. Nodding, she smiled up at him and giggled. "Now! Silly, that will teach you a lesson. Blood is for bodies not floors, I told you already!" she chuckled, popping back up to her feet, wings twittering.

Just for extra good measure she shook her staff at him again, making sure he got the point that she had been making before reaching out to offer him another hug. "Lets try again extremely! A biiiiiiiiiiiiiig ol huggy hug hug for you and everything will be just finey fine fine fine!" she smiled, hopping forward, arms stretched as wide as they could go.

Being a Prisma that she was, the concept of learning took several long minutes to sink in, the information having to swirl around in that empty pit of a head of hers for quite a while. Particularly in the most peculiar situations. So naturally, the fae latched herself onto the naga again, this time with extra squeezing oomph to deliver the most mightiest of hugs, second only to the make up huggy hug extremely given to her favy fav Lisandru sir.

A satisfied sigh escaped her lips as she reached up to pat the snake on the face before ruffling his hair a moment and letting go. She stood back pleased with herself, clinging to her staff wistfully as she watched him. "All better mister snakey wakey poo?"

Who is engaged? Supah Naga

Before Phaenna could even pick a target more naga started to appear, and they were bigger. She frowned. This was not good. These older naga could do some serious damage to the mortals. Luckly it seemed like her siblings were on it. They all seemed to have right idea. The less damage to those help them, the better. Phaenna flapped her mighty wings before letting out a loud call, her boon. She had to help as much as she could. Seemed her own twin would be the one to hear it and she grinned. This would help them a lot.

Phaenna locked her eyes onto one of the new naga and gripped her spear. That one. She suddenly took a dive to the ground, leveling out just before the ground and zooming strait to her target. With a might yell she slashed her spear against the naga. The battle was on.

Kleta gets her sisters boon for today! =D

Who is engaged?Super Naga

Kleta was still going toe to toe with this super naga. Feeling herself wear down as she continued to block his attacks. She really needed to exercise more. Just as she was starting to feel like it was time to give up on this target, she heard her sister's cry farther off in the battlefield. She felt inspired and motivated to hear her sister and Kleta echoed the cry as she lowered her shield and plunged her spear into the naga's tail. The naga recoiled, believing that it had the upperhand and not expecting the sudden comeback from the goddess. However, with Kleta's spear pinning him to the floor he found it rather difficult to go anywhere as she then bashed the Naga's face with her shield. This felt amazing.

The naga reached out for Kleta with its claws which grazed her forearm just barely as Kleta attempted to move out of the way with the grace of... a grace. Kleta gave the snake another good bash in the head with her shield for that one before removing her spear from his tail and circling him menacingly.

Who is engaged? Ruby and Adelphos

He'd been so close to getting her! The hiss he gave in response to her admonition was part aggression, part frustration. Ysaln did not care how rude she did or didn't think he was. That was not even a factor to him. As she grabbed onto him, he recoiled back--unsuccessfully--and began to try to think of a way out of his current situation. Being that he wasn't armed either, per se...

Those nails hurt!

His kind were very muscular. It came with how their bodies were shaped, after all. One tube of muscle. And so, he yanked himself downward, rolling, trying to both get out of her grasp and knock her feet out from under her with his tail. He was not expecting, at that moment, for her to be joined by another. Every fiber of his being recoiled away from that icy touch as soon as he felt it, and he renewed his efforts to break contact with--now two of--them.

He would not disgrace his family and he would not disgrace his clan. He would not. He would not. Even so, just that brief touch had an affect. While Ysaln didn't freeze completely, he felt his movements slow fairly dramatically.

He would not disgrace his clan.

Hissing again, he lashed out with the only weapons he had, his fangs and claws and sheer speed. Those nails had hurt, but he would ensure his hurt more!

Who is engaged? Priya and Abby
"ABBY!" That was it. He couldn't sit back any more. He had to help. The distraction was over and Abby had gotten out of the snakes grip but the snake just BIT HIS LOVE! NO BODY WAS ALLOW TO HARM HIS BEAUTIFUL FINANCE WHILE HE STILL BREATHED! The Nymph couldn't fly over fast enough, murderous intent in his eyes. This snake was going down. He grabbed onto the nagas head as he flew passed, pulling on her backwards and away from Abby. Even in his rage he could tell this naga was young, not like the other two big ones on the field...Wait, were their more now? Whatever. His mind was on Abby and Abby only. This young naga just needed to get away from her!

Day: 2
Who is engaged?Super Naga

Kleta was feeling quite proud of herself now as she circled the naga. She was living up to her name as the goddess of fame. "Take that foolish heathen." She grinned. The goddess was still feeling quite empowered by the way this mini-duel was turning in her favor. The naga was powerful, but so was Kleta. However, she had also made this naga quite angry. Really angry. Kleta ducked away from another swipe of his claws, but his tail was coming at her from the other side as well! Dodge, jump, try not to trip over the damned thing! She breathed out heavily as she managed to avoid connection with the naga this time.

They went back to playing the game again, Kleta dodging and blocking with her shield as the naga pursued her much more aggressively now, fueled by his anger. Her shield was strong but as the creature banged against it she had to wonder about how dented it must be becoming. On the next strike, Kleta pushed back her shield with the attack, trying to push back the naga and jabbed her spear out from behind it again, stabbing the naga beneath the rib. At the same time, the naga hissed and whipped her from the side with her tail. It knocked her down, and would certainly leave an ugly bruise which she wasn't about to cry over.

Kleta held the shield over her head to protect herself as she got back up, but as she did so the naga lunged at her legs, sinking his claws into her leg.

It took all of Kleta's strength to begin flying with the naga's claws still buried in her leg. As she went up, the claws dragged down the length of her leg, she could feel the blood oozing as she did so, but it wasn't long before he had to let go as she flew out of his reach. At least the naga was bleeding too.

The docile God of Weddings arrived to the battlefield behind the others. It was just chaos everywhere. He landed atop one of the temple's pillars and observed. It looked like the snakes were slowly being taken over, it'd just be another day or so and the temple would belong to them once again.

Wedding arrows would be highly inappropriate here. Although marrying a naga to a mortal pae would be quite amusing. Maybe even facilitate harmony? No, that was his sister's job anyway.

He reached in to his quiver and removed a very lengthy arrow shaft fletched with golden feathers. Pulling the arrow back, he looked around, carefully choosing his target.

Who is engaged?Super Naga

When the strong naga arrived as back up for the losing Angwi clan, Psyche was pissed. She wants this stupid battle to end so she can get back to her family, and get the bandaid of Venus' return ripped off as quick as possible.

She was here only because of Eros and his love for his mother. She had concern over the whereabouts of the troublesome Goddess of Love (that's a laugh), but she fully believed it was merely more shenanigans and plots to separate her from her beloved. That seemed to happen every year. But then when even the annual Dancing with the Erotes contest wasn't announced, nor was there a bunch of pomp and circumstance surrounding a party hosted by Venus for Venus for Venus Day didn't happen, it finally sunk in that maybe she was missing. That or her scheme was so elaborate she'd forgo presents and celebration in honor of herself. Psyche laughed to herself at that thought.

When the battle commenced, it became real. She was so proud to hear her husband rally the gathered fighters. She watched with stars in her eyes as he led the attack on the horrid snake beasts. But the reality of what they were doing set in and she had to stop oogling Eros. She'd merely managed to keep a few naga off her in-laws' backs or distract them from attacking the innocent mortals when the reinforcements arrived.

She pulled out the big guns. No more support role for this daughter-in-law! Her tiny little butterflies swarmed the ground beneath the err... feet? tail of one of the newly arrived naga, and suddenly the rocks and rubble sprung to life, swarming the naga and pelting him over and over again.

She might have hit him in the eye too, based on his reactions. She grinned, and immediately sent another little swarm of her soul butterflies near another naga. The little butterflies immediately merged into a tree, which quickly became animated enough to start swatting at the naga with the law branches.

She almost didn't understand the fae as he yelled at her, the voice coarse from being long dormant. Unfortunately, running wasn't really an option. She more so...shuffled. If the naga really did want to pursue them, he could have easily caught her.

But he had picked her because she looked like easy prey. With her red fae's help, it was apparent it would be a struggle. So he turned to attack another poor weak pae.

She glanced behind herself only once, and sighed the biggest sigh of relief in her life. As the wilwarin passed a pillar, she slumped her weight against it to rest. "Thank you." The pink female softly called to the male. He had followed her for some reason. To make sure she got away? She was so happy, so thankful. Finally the day caught her a break.
