Faer is... innocent. Blindly innocent. He takes everyone at their word, he doesn't dictate what's right or wrong in his own mind, and it seems he does not take any kind of personal initiative. If he's told something is right, then it's right until someone tells him otherwise. If he's told something is wrong, then it's wrong until someone tells him otherwise. He follows blindly, unaware that there is any other way to live. This will be due largely to the fact that he will awaken close to Morning Star and that B'alam will shape this woven-born's mind from the moment he draws his first breath. Unfortunately, Faer will live a while under Morning Star's guidance. Cruelty to him will be just another action, no more wrong or right than taking an afternoon nap.
