The monkey opens it's eyes and starts chattering. Crystal does the last spell. "Petrificus totalus!"

Crystal thinks back to a time when she had to use one of the spells. "I had to use rennervate when I was very little, way back when I lived with my mum. One night, the house caught fire. It was a magic fire she couldn't put out. She fainted - from the smoke I thought - and I tried to use the spell, with her wand, to revive her like I had seen her revive our old owl when it was hurt. It took a few times, but she finally opened her eyes. She told me to go into the cellar, to the far end and out a hidden door, and that was the last time I saw her."

Kori ran through the Hogwarts castle, on her way to Charms Class. Oh no! She thought, I'm gonna be late! She went through an innumerable amount of corridors until she stopped. Where am I? She walked into an empty classroom, and the door slammed shut behind her. She turned around and heard crackling laughter. "Peeves!" Kori was about to pound on the door, but she remembered her homework. She took out her wand, and said "Alohomora!" The door swung open! Kori began running to Charms Class again.

10/10 points for gryffindor for the roleplay

"Unbelievable....another failure. These spells are being very difficult towards me. I feel like I'm shaming my house ha ha ha..." Hailey laughed nervously.

You are not shaming your house some people have an affinity with some types of spells and others have an abnormal problem with the spells remember harry potter had trouble with the summoning charm but he practiced it so much that its never a problem for him any more ((ooc i have a tip for people having problems with the dice try going to the chatter box or some where and rolling dice till you start getting the numbers you want then come back here and try again this rigs the dice for one of three results result one it will roll on the low side result two it will not work result three it will roll on the high side its a glitch in gaia dice dont know why and devs have said its immpossible to fix with out making a brand new dice code))

Going over to a goldfish in a bowl Hailey pointed her wand at the fish and said, "Tuor Vardamirthe."

The goldfish seemed to start swimming quite happily in the bowl!

Extremely relieved to have gotten one right Hailey moved onto the next one. She went over to one of the cabinets and locked it, "alohomora."

The cabinet doors opened immediately! Hailey couldn't help but release a giddy giggle.

Hailey wasted no time in moving onto the final charm. She approached another goldfish. "Confundo."

It worked and the goldfish immediately donned a dazed expression!

((IRL? No haha. But it has been part of my character's backstory for as long as I've been in the guild! I even vaguely referenced it in one of my first trips on the Hogwarts Express I think...maybe it was the common room. The fire is actually the least interesting bit of that story wink but it's why Crystal Quills has always lived with her mysterious potion making uncle.))

Nothing happened! Kori began to bite her cheek nervously, thinking it would never work.
