He smiled and turned around. He hugged him back. "Umm what selfishness? Avi you're so kind. And thank you for not well shoving a cross in my face when I told you what I am. Or calling a nurse in to send me to the psych ward."

Avi smiled as he was hugged back listening to the other he chuckled a bit, "I didn't have a cross to begin with and even had I told a nurse they may have thought I was delirious from all the medication that was being forced inside of me. But honestly, I had no reason not to believe you..." he said looking up at Yuki a stupid grin on his face.

"Oh ok I get it you would have tried to vanquish me if you had any of the stereotypical items to vanquish vampires."

"Thats not what I'm saying. Why would I try to vanquish you? Yuki did you know your the first true friend I ever had? I moved around too much to make any close friends. When I first moved here I thought it was going to be the same, and for the most part it was. Everyone who visited me in the beginning eventually disappeared from coming except you. Before I met you...I had already given up on trying to live..." he said letting go of Yuki leaning against the counter. "Somehow, someway you made me believe I could get better and for a while I did. And now? I am better because of you. Besides had I had anything like a cross or any other stereotypical item I wouldn't have used it. Reason one, because I don't believe they would have worked. Reason two, why would I vanquish my only friend?"

"I was teasing you Avi. And I'm sorry you don't have more friends who stuck around for you. I guess people are age have to low of an attention span to be in a hospital for long. But maybe you'll have more friends now that you won't be going back. I wish you could have gotten better on your own though."

"I don't know if I can blame them though. I mean it wasn't like the hospital was my house. Can't run around, play games, have actual fun like one would outside. Hmm however though... Is not know if I want more friends..." He said chuckling.

He slung an arm around his shoulders. "Well you'll always have me."

Avi smiled feeling the arm around him, "All I need is you." he said grinning.

"Well good. Because all I need is you too." He smiled.

Smiling, Avi leaned slightly into Yuki enjoying the closeness the two shared. After a few minutes Avi yawned shaking his head lightly as sleepiness started to come over him.

"Looks like you're ready for bed."

Avi was about to say no when the word turned into yet another yawn as he simply nodded his head.

He smiled and walked with his towards their rooms.

Walking out of the kitchen and up the stairs, before Avi knew it he was in front of his room. "Night." he said with a soft smile as he opened the door the room walking inside. With no need to turn the light on, he made his way over to the bed curling up in the sheets and fell quickly into a deep sleep.

"Good night." Yuki smiled watching Avi go to bed before turning in himself.
