xinawarrior123 PsychoBunnyFire RuchiraFey Harbone I remember when pop music was exciting. Kids these days wouldn't survive two minutes in a mosh pit! I went out dancing, the other day (for a given value of other day) and I almost fell asleep on the dance floor. In my day, we played out music loud and hard! And violently! And punk! You call that punk! Some of those guys can actually sing, that ain't punk! excuse moi! but we do survive rather well in mosh pits, and perhaps you have just been gong to the wrong clubs, ey? what punk are you hearing, disney channel? and yes, im a teen checking out the geezers guild! trendsetter, here. Oh goodness me. Stop getting your dander up over a joke. *bangs head against wall* Angst, angst, angst, angst, angst. *punctuates each bang with "angst"* xD Hey, there! Stop that knockin' holes in the rest home walls! scream *waves cane*

The_Only_Ace_Of_Hearts Frankly I just dont understand why adults have to be so bossy. I know working people have down time so have some fun be a kid again. Some adults are always bossy and stuff and they cant have any fun if you just acted like a kid again maybe the stress would go away. And yeah with the sort of money and gas thing in the U.S. right now people are more stressed but think about teachers. during the summer they are out of the job so people who arent workign shouldnt stress so much if they are on a three motnh break like teachers. Just keep looking for a job and make sure when you do get work to save money and you'll be fine. Im not here to offend anyone. But you shouldnt be so hard on kids just because we are trying to have fun. Yeah some of the stuff we do is kind of stupid and Im no different. but everyone does something stupid in their life everyonce and a while right? you all are the ones with wisdom so shouldnt you be trying to teach us how to not stress? You never really understand childhood until you've left it. Yes, there is a large amount of stress to being an adult that kids just wont get until they're there. I can't just stop paying bills beacuse I feel like blowing money on something. I can't just take a day off because I don't feel up to going into work. And the things that stress your parents out, they do them for your sake. So you can have those clothes you're wearing and the computer you're sitting at. And yes! There are things about being a kid that adults forget about and should be more patient with. But adults are bossy more often then not for your own good. I don't know how old you are or what your situation is so I'll just use a random example: Say a child gets yelled at by their mom for playing near the furnace. The child doesn't understand why. Nothing happened. He didn't get burned or anything. Mom's just being silly. But what Mom is thinking is "What if he tripped on something and fell onto the furnace? What if something rolled under it and he tried to get it? What if? What if? What if?" See?

The Retanator well I'm just about 17, and I for one think it's kind of rude for you other youngings to barge in here and display the teenage attitude that these folks were just complainng about-- wake up! Yeah, these people might not have experienced our school enviroments, but they still have survived a crazy mized up world for longer than we have-- instead of being complete jackasses to them, respect them. Adults should be respected, not laughed at. They actually know a whole lot more than you like to give them credit for. I'd like to thank you all in this thread for opening my eyes to how much of a jackass I am to my mother some times. Her and my father have been great parents, they've taught me politeness, responsibility, and the importance of a work ethic. People compliment me on my grades at school, but really the reason I'm doing so well is the fact that once someone assigns a homework assignment, I go home and I do it-- accomplishing the task I was given. AKA responsibility. I suppose teens get fed up with their parents because "farmiliarity breeds contempt" an we're around them all the time. But still, they really can help us turn into well-rounded adults if we listen to them. Oh such a sweet child! *pinches cheeks*

xinawarrior123 Naoe_88 Eirwyn Lest y'all forget what was in the first post: This is FOR FUN. Like, a modern-day version of the old "I had to walk twenty miles to school barefoot in ten feet of snow!" complaints. OK? mrgreen lol. it's not modern if ppl have been doing it for a while, i know i have mrgreen hmm...does anyone know of or remeber or still play wall ball/roll ball? that was played in many schools some 5 or 6 yrs ago....i just wanna know if it's become one of those, "i remember back in the day" kinda things now Yeah! I called it butt's up when I first learned from my big sis. ^_^ but nowadays the big thing that's the closest to it is called handball. Except its really far from what you see in the olympics. lol. butts up...funny name XD, i guess it's officially in the " what the heck is that?" pile ^_^ well, the one im referring too was pretty violent at times. back in middle school most girls weren't allowed or didn't play because the boys would start real fights if their sisters or girlfriends got hurt by someone, but it was fun non the less xd that and "deathball"........10 soccer balls.....200 kids in a court yard....and everyones a target twisted (muah hahahaha!).......what?! we were playing outside at least blaugh

Every age group has a collection of things to stress about, even little bitty kids. When you grow out of one set of stresses, you grow into another. sad And they tend to get more complicated. One of the most stressing and depressing things about middle age to me is the realization that Mom and Dad are Getting Old. Their health begins to fail, and you begin to see that a day is coming up scary fast when one or both of them won't be there any more. When one of them gets sick, it scares the hell out of you 'til they get better. And if you don't have the financial resources to help take care of them, its even worse.

Well, I'm not 21, but I'm 18 and I remember having dialup. I didn't get dsl until like 2 years ago. I remember playing wallball and Extreme wallball. I would always chicken out on that game. XD
