Lexi loved the feeling of him cradling her in his arms like that. She didn't know why, but in his arms she felt safe, warm, and wanted. She continued to cry into his bare chest for awhile longer before she began to stop. She wiped at her eyes for a moment before she just sat there hugging him. "Thank you Dylan..." She whispered to him as she glanced up to him, but still not moving.

"Any time... If you need a shoulder to cry on, I'm your guy." Dill smiled at her and wiped a stray tear from her face. He was glad she felt comfortable enough to entrust all this to him.

"Thanks. I'll definitely take you up on that offer." Lexi replied as their eyes locked for a moment. But she soon broke it, blushing lightly. "You um, might want to put on your shirt? You're still... not fully clothed." She then said, trying to change the subject quickly.

Dill smiled a little, loving to see her blush. "Oh.... sure." He got up, wishing they could lock eyes just a little longer, and grabbed his shirt from the pile. "Well you have my number, feel free to call when ever. I'm usually up till two most nights. My mom really hates that." He smiled and slipped on his shirt.

"Alright, yeah. I'll definitely call, but I won't be a stalker or anything. So don't worry 'bout that." Lexi said with a laugh as she then just plopped back onto her bed, arms out to either side. "And you can easily do the same. Remember that." She told him as she flashed him a quick smile.

"I had a stalker once. Jimmy Albard, he's a sophomore this year. Total freak. All last year he made sure that he was there whenever I was. At all the games, he sat close to the front to watch me. He would walk by my house for hours on end, even though he lives on the other side of town. He even broke into my locker to try to steal my hairbrush to get a lock of my hair. Like I said before, he's a total freek." Lexi told him with a laugh. "But he lost interest in me over summer and started chasing another girl. Ha! I feel sorry for her already."

"Creepy." Dill put in his two cents. He pulled on his shoes next and then stood. "So.... no boyfriend?" He asked her wanting to get all the details.

"Oh yeah, I know." Lexi replied, propping herself up with her elbows. "Sorry, but no. No boyfriend. I haven't had one since last year. It lasted for awhile, but no dice." She said with a shrug of her shoulders.

Dylan nodded, "Sorry it didn't work out for you..... well maybe not that sorry but you know what I mean right." He said thinking out load mostly. He felt stupid and horrible for saying that but it was truthful.

"Um, yeah. Well, I think so?" Lexi replied, rubbing the back of her head in a nervous fashion. Now sitting up, she tilted her head to the side. "Why are you so curious about me all of a sudden, Dylan?"

"Oh it's totally okay. I can get like that easily from time to time, so don't put it on yourself, okay?" Lexi told him with a reassuring smile. She honestly didn't mind it around him. He made her feel so comfortable already, that anything that he would do wouldn't be that big of a deal.
