Moni soon understood what he meant and pouted. Of course: trees didn't make sounds to communicate. It was a little mean, but he soon forgave him, smiling to show it and happily mimicking a series of chirps.

Fryma chuckled and ruffled his hair gently. "I love you, young one," he whispered.

Moni had nearly finished a difficult series of chirrups and tweets when Fryma said that, causing him to squeak and efficiently mess up the series. He blushed intensely and looked down, his eyes wide, but he smiled some, looking up at him slowly to let him see the smile, though the blush was still very present.

Fryma laughed softly and kissed his forehead, being mindful that Kina was still behind them. How he longed to kiss Moni for real, to give him a true kiss.

Kina chuckled as she watched. "I better head back. Your sister will be home soon~"She said, and a bird escorted her home, leaving the two of them alone. ((night))

Fryma nodded his goodbyes, watching as she followed the little finch. When she was out of sight, Fryma turned back to Moni, tilting the boy's head back slightly and bending down to kiss him on the lips, lingering there for a while and enjoying the feel.

Moni blushed and closed his eyes as he felt the forest once more, but thee feel of Fryma's lips against his own was still present. When Fryma pulled away, he slowly opened his eyes and looked up at him, a little dazed but feeling very warm and happy.

Fryma smiled and took his hand. "Would you like to go to the river or continue a tour of the forest?"

Moni tried to focus on the question. tour or river... a tour would let him see the forest AND keep holding his hand, so he held up two fingers for the second choice.

They strolled slowly through the forest with Fryma pointing out which spots were safest, where Moni could go to relax and bathe, and other areas he thought would interest Moni. "And of course, as long as there are animals around, you can go exploring whenever and wherever you wish, as long as you're careful," he added after pointing out a particularly well-hidden swimming hole.

Moni smiled, looking around at everything. At the last part, Moni nodded, only to gasp as he tripped over a root, colliding into Fryma's chest and blushing.

Fryma caught him, turning the collision into a hug. "Are you okay," he asked, worry lacing both his voice and his features.

Moni looked up and smiled, nodding a little and cuddling into the hug. Those arms around him felt comfortable and warm, a fact he enjoyed very much.

Fryma smiled and rested his chin on Moni's, closing his eyes and just enjoying the moment. For the first time in Fryma's very long life, time seemed to stand still as they embraced, enjoying each other's warmth.

Moni closed his eyes and enjoyed the hug to its fullest,then heard his stomach rumble. HE blushed in embarrassment and wished that it could be mute as well.
