Kanda reached the study and opened the double doors. He closed them back quietly as he went to his desk and pciked up the book he started. He flipped through the pages and started where he left off.

After about 3 hours of reading, his eyes began to droop. But he didn't feel like getting up. So he slept at his desk instead.

Shan was awakened by the light of the sun shining in his face. He didn't dare open his eyes, lest the sun's rays blind him as soon as he did. Turning his face away from the warmth of the great light, he pulled the covers over him. He didn't want to get up just yet.

Alas, a nudging feeling inside him and the morning seemed to lure him out from the bed and into the bathroom to clean himself before heading to the kitchen.

Kanda was awaken by the sun and groaned. "Stupid sun.." He sapt out as he sat up and rubbed his eyes. He looked around the room, seeing dots then closed them and opened them again then saw nothing.

He yawned as he got up and headed to his room. He reached his destination then immediately got into the shower to wake him up.

As he entered the kitchen and began preparing a dish for breakfast, Shan heard whispers around him. It had something to do with the incident from last night. Curious as he was, he listened, though he didn't show that he was listening.

"The master seems to be giving the new guy some slack, especially after he ran away," he heard a slave say. "Maybe the master likes him or something." Shan kept hearing the same thing all over the place. He couldn't believe what he heard. The master liking him? That was impossible.

When Kanda finished his shower, he got out and dried himself. when he finished, he went into his closet and picked out a pair of jeans to wear and a long sleeve turtle neck, that was red in color.

When he finished getting dress, he headed out the the dining hall. He sat down in his seat and waited for his food; playing with the forks in boredom.

Shan finished making the breakfast that he was supposed to make, and soon brought it out to the table, though he made sure to keep an eye out for anything that may try to trip him. When he returned to the kitchen, the whispers were still going on. A few slaves even walked to him and told him the rumor, each adding something new. He wondered why they seemed so worked up about it.

As he walked to help some slaves, this time they didn't isolate him, he even heard some of their questions to each other according to the rumor. Shan would often ask them where they got the idea, but they didn't answer him.

Kanda looked up when Shan lay the food down on the table then looked at the food. Its was simple: Eggs, toast and bacon. A good breafast.

He picked her up fork as he began to eat; suddenly feeling hungry. An hour later, he finished and a maid pickd it up. He then got up and headed to the dojo to do some training.

After an hour, Shan walked back to his room, not bothering to join the slaves, who had stopped working, for their own breakfast. He needed some solitude to think about the rumor. For some reason, he felt something like a bug in his heart, and he needed to find out what it was.

His first thought about the bug was that he was having a crush on the master, but how could that be? He was completely heterosexual! It's been proven long before he became a slave! So how could it be possible that he was crushing on the master? Loyalty, perhaps, but definitely not romantic feelings!
