"S-Sorry Boss." Lorin mumbled, placing the knife back down on the desk. What had pissed Dustynn off even more than the fact that Lorin was going to kill the boy taking temporary residence in his room was the fact that he was also going to use his knife to kill him. The same knife that Dustynn used to hack his father to bits, and the same knife that he had carried with him his entire life.

"Whatever you had to say must've been pretty important for you to come and wake me up." Dustynn hissed, walking in. He motioned for Olan to get out of the room and go into the next one. He didn't want Lorin getting any more agitated than he already was.

Shakily, Olan left the room and entered the room next to it. He crawled under the covers and tried to calm his panicked heart, but he couldn't get over the near-death experience. The building fear in his heart eventually forced itself out of him in the form of a whimper. He had always felt unprotected, but this feeling was the worst.

He kept the covers over his head as if he was building a protective barrier against the world. Olan kept his ears open for anyone at the door, and he even locked it so the experience wouldn't repeat itself. The room seemed to shrink on him, and his breathing turned very shallow until it nearly reached hyperventilation.

"Uh... yes. The body's been disposed of. There are no remnants that it even existed, Boss." Lorin said quietly, staring the shorter boy down. He hated this. Why did somebody younger, shorter, and weaker than him end up having to be his boss?

"Couldn't have waited until tomorrow?" Dustynn asked, leaving the room. He froze in the doorway, right before he stepped outside. "Oh, and by the way. Olan is mine, he is my most prized possession. Damage him, and getting me another one will be the least of your worries." He said wryly, slamming the door behind him.

He jiggled the doorknob to the next room, just to find it locked. He sighed, seeing that Olan wasn't allowing anybody else to randomly walk in. The gang leader pulled a ring of keys from his pocket, and opened the door quietly. He spotted the lump laying underneath the covers, and a small smile graced the boy's features. Olan was entirely something else.

Olan trembled as he heard the door open and then he nervously peeked from under the covers, his fear turning into relief as he saw Dustynn. He immediately stopped shivering and watched as the gang leader stood at the doorway with what looked like a smile on his face.

"L-Loch-san, you're finished already?" Olan asked, using the 'ch' sound that he heard Marissa use, though he was still confused why it had to be the 'ch' sound instead of the 'ck' sound. He was sure that 'Loch' was pronounced with a 'ck', but how would he know? He's not the one who's hung around Dustynn for quite a while.

Dustynn's ears twitched as he heard the mispronunciation of his name. He didn't know where Olan learned his last name, but now he was pissed. He just saved the boy's life from getting minced into a million pieces then fed to the dogs in the alleyway, and this was the thanks that he received?

But the older boy smiled instead. But instead of pretending that he didn't hear the mispronunciation like his smile implied, he pulled a gun to the younger boy's head.

"It's pronounced Lock." He said, enunciating the 'ck' sound very clearly through gritted teeth. "You're lucky I don't send a bullet whizzing between your eyes right now." He hissed, walking toward Olan with slow, graceful strides.

"I-I'm sorry. It's just that I heard Marissa-san call you that, and I thought it might be your name," Olan said as calmly as he could, which wasn't really calm at all. He didn't dare crawl back into the covers lest he wanted a bullet in his head. Instead, he stared in fear as the gang leader walked toward him.

He wanted nothing more than to run away, but how would he be able to without getting shot? He could barely escape the gunshots of those assassins that appeared daily at his door, but Dustynn was a completely different story. He's killed so many people, so his aim may be accurate.

Dustynn's eyebrows raised into a delicate arch, but then he started laughing. He tossed the gun over his shoulder so that it would hit and shut the door, leaving them both in utter darkness.

"Marissa would only call me that because it annoys me to no end when people pronounce my name wrong." He breathed into Olan's ear, finally reaching the boy's position in the bed.

Suddenly, Dustynn tossed the gun to the door, causing it to close, and they were in a world of darkness. Olan's wariness increased and he waited for any other sudden movement, but he could hear nothing until the gang leader's voice reached his ear.

In discomfort, Olan moved away from the direction of the voice, falling off the bed in the process. He tried to get up, but there wasn't enough room between the bed and the wall for him to be able to move.

Dustynn stifled a laugh at the boy's clumsiness, but grabbed his arm and hoisted him back up on the bed. He could tell that the boy wasn't very comfortable with his advances, but it amused him to no end his reaction.

"Trying to get away will do you no good at all. You understand that, right?" He asked, smoothing the younger boy's hair with a cold hand. "You're mine now... I don't tolerate mispronunciation of my name from anybody."

Olan felt himself being pulled back onto the bed and the ache that the blood rushing to his head had caused soon disappeared, but relief was very far away. He flinched when a cold hand ran itself through his hair.

"I didn't know, I swear!" he wanted to say, but the only thing he did was just attempt to crawl back under the covers. Unfortunately, even that didn't seem to be enough to escape the gang leader.

Dustynn smirked, but clicked on the small lamp sitting on the night stand. The boy was definitely afraid, which amused Dustynn greatly. After all, it wasn't hard for a gang leader to intimidate, but a gang leader as young and small as him was just plain not intimidating.

"Still.... you cannot escape even the smallest chastisement." The older boy said with mock sweetness. "Every other person who pronounces my name wrong had been shot, do you know that?" He asked, pulling the younger boy closer to him.

Olan yelped as he was pulled out of the covers and back to gang leader's arms. He tried to wriggle away, but he just couldn't escape. As of now, he was trapped and there was nothing he could do except sit there. And to think he was beginning to trust Dustynn.

"L-look, I didn't mean to call you that, okay?" Olan said nervously, continuing his struggle. "J-just please let me go! You're scaring me." He wanted to cry out for help, but he knew it would be futile. Nobody in the gang would be willing to go against their leader just to help some "cursed" kid.

The door banged open and a very agitated and angry Marissa was standing in the doorway. A rifle was in her hand, and her hair was in a tangled mess on her shoulders. Her eyes were blood shot, and she looked like a complete mess.

"Would you two girls just shut the f-up and go to sleep already?! We've all got lives to live you know!" She screamed, pointing the gun at Dustynn and Olan.

"Mari. Calm down." Dustynn ordered, his words were stern and strict. The gun didn't leave it's position, so Dustynn repeated his order. "Mari. Calm down." Still, the girl didn't move, so the boy moved from his position on the bed and walked over to the girl. She still didn't move, so he took the gun from her and pushed her back towards her room. "Got to sleep." He called after her, locking the door behind him.

Olan watched as Dustynn pushed the angry Marissa out from the room and closed and locked the door. Great, now he was alone with the gang leader who at the moment had seemed insane. Well, what else could describe his sudden strange attitude.

He stayed where he was, frozen and carefully watching Dustynn and waiting for whatever he may do next. Olan didn't understand why he was so scared. It wasn't like the gang leader was going to kill him anytime soon, right? If something as simple as a mispronounced name could anger him that much, then what would happen if something larger than a mispronounced name insulted Dustynn?

"So... where were we?" Dustynn asked, walking back over to the younger boy literally cowering on the bed. He still held the rifle in his hand, but he had no intention of using it. Of course, nobody knew that, right?

He leaned the gun against the night stand, standing over Olan with a semi-intimidating aura about him. His eyes were glassy and emotionless, as was the rest of his face. He wasn't moving, so he body language didn't give off any signs, but the way he was tapping his foot showed impatience.
