I was listening to Launch on Yahoo! and I'm Not Okay came on.
I listened to it and thought, "Hey, these guys are pretty cool!" I remember it was around Christmas last year..
Ever since, I looked across the web for stuff about them. They weren't really heard of here in Australia until The Used toured and then alot of people became fans. What's funny is that I was the first person at my school to get the album, a hoodie, a bag and a ton of shirts.
I think my friends were sick of me going on about a band they had never heard of before, then I leant them my album and they were like, "Wow!".
Now everyone calls me the MCR chick, who created the craze.
It's pretty cool knowing you were the first to really like them out of your friends and the whole student body.

I actually heard about them from a friend who liked them, a long time ago. I didn't really get into them then, but a few months later I was thinking, "I'm bored. I'm gonna look up that artist my friend liked." So I did, and this time I fell in love with them~ =D

I was watching FUSE and "I'm not okay (I promise)" came on. It was the first time I saw it. (it was the old video, as well) I fell in love with the song and "the lead singer", as I called him then. I called up my friend, Erik, and asked him if he knew the song and he said "Yeah! I love that song!!" And he started singing it to me and I was so impressed. Sooo, I learned all the words and every time I heard the song, I would blast it. Then I went to the mall and bought the CD, finally and it was the most amazing thing I'd ever heard. Then I did some research to learn more about the band and got the older CD, "I brought you my bullets, you brought me your love". And here I am now. <3 I'm My Chemical Romance obsessed.

At the beginning of this summer I made a new friend. When I went to her house she asked me if I liked My Chemical Romance. I replied that I didn't know much of their material. She then put Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge on and I immediately fell in love with their music. Ever since then I've been a dedicated fan of their music.
(Note I liked their music first, not Gerard Way - though he is extremely attractive 3nodding )

My friend was listening to them one day while we were at a show i was like 'who the hell are they' he gave me one of the ear phones and we both listened to them until we had to go on stage it took are minds of the nerves about to day's after i went to my nearest music store and found bullets!!!!

Around december,two of my friends were going on about my chemical whosits
But I had no interest in it cause I was in a greenday only phase. Then in January,I saw an issue of Kerrang! magasine and there were some fellows on the front in a school uniform covered in blood.Very intruiged,I bought the kerrang! to see who the hell these guys were. Half way through the interview,I got bored and put it under my bed.
Around a month later I was cleaning my room and found the interview again and read it.I liked it,and seeing as how my two firneds were still going on about some guy called Gerard,I bought their album that week-end ^^
Im so happy I cleaned my room that day <3

Hmmmm, I somehow randomly stumbled across them back in the 4th grade, I think...O_O Maybe It was 5th. I can't really remember...Yes. Point issssss, that I luffle them...in an unhealthy amount.

my sister heard them first. she heard them on yahoo launch, and i wanted to listen, so i got onto yahoo launch and fell in love with the band. ive been obsessed since.

my sister yelled for me to get upstairs to see a cool music video and Helena was on MTVHits....i watched it then i was hooked.....i was also hooked on Gerard....love at first sight <333 heart
