Newton ducked just in time as edwards hand came down, just missing his head. Whew! he sighed rather in relief. knowing full well it would have hurt considerably. newton danced just barely out of edwards reach, very careful as not to get too close to him. sticking his tongue out at him, yet again. ' short cakes!! and strawberries!' he sang, giving a hearty laugh.

Edward continued to chase Newton in a furious rage.
"IM NOT SMALL!! OR YINY!! OR A MIDGET!! "

" no your not your just a strawberrie!haha!" newton laughed abnoxiously running from the midget chasing him. it was always good to change the mood in a situation from time to time..eh?

Edward threw random objects at Newton as he chased him farther.

newton grinned happy to hear the change in his mood... he had to duck again and sudenly turned and headed straight for edward instead.. he kicked off with his right foot and became airborne, his hands pushing skillfully against edwards shoulders ad newton used edward as a kind of support beam and somersaulted over him.

he landed a few feet away from him... a look of great triumph plastering his handsome face..

Edward sighed deeply in frustration and sat down.
"WHATEVER!"

Newton finally calmed down and plopped down next to him, stretching in a very cat like manner... 'your still agitated..' he stated.

"duh, everything always depends on me..." Edward huffed.

' well not wholly- orin plays a big part in this as well..' Newton informed in merely stating a fact. ' but you, my friend- have been waiting for something like this your entire life' he play fully nuged edward on the arm.

"Heh. Trouble always finds me." Edward chuckled.

newton smiled a kind smile as he reached over and tousled the boys blond hair affectionatly. ' no.. not trouble- just adventure with the promise of knowledge..'

"hmm...never thought of it that way..." Edward grinned up at Newton.

newton clapped in praise. 'now your thinking straight!' he smiled. 'your very ingenious for a little kid..' he paused 'im very proud of you.' he patted edwars cheek affectionatly.

Edward chuckled, "ah, your embarrassing me!" he joked.

'not at all..!' newton grinned. ' your father would be proud if he were here and your mother even more..' newton tapped the boys nose affectionately before turning and glancing up the mountain trail, and then back at edward- smiling in hope's to keep the boys spirits up...
