So... The digimon who lost their lives in the ancient battles couldn't become digi-eggs, but would live on as... statues? Jonny didn't get it, but then something Gage had said struck him.

"Did I hear you correctly? He could BECOME Turbomon?"

Just at this moment, a large stream of the data floating through space re-directed, and aimed for the disk in Jonny's hand. It pooled there, about an inch over the plate, and then began to take form. It appeared to be a set of armor, red with a flame pattern etched into it. A strange helmet that seemed to resemble a Greymon's horns rested atop the strange structure.

"....Sooo, now what do we do with it?" The question was answered for him when the statue lifted out of his hands, and hovered in front of him. His wrist-mounted digivice began to beep, so Jonny brought it up to see what it was saying. 'Download commencing... Human Spirit transfering...'

When he looked back up, the statue suddenly sank down, and somehow fit itself into the small window of his watch-like device. 'Download complete,' the digivice stated. 'Hybrid Digivolution now available.' After this, it suddenly went dark, and stayed that way.

"....I have to quit hanging around with you, Gage. Weird stuff happens whenever you're around. Seriously, you should get your hair checked out, that's not right." With that said, he turned back around, trying to see what everyone else had been doing during their little spelunking trip.

"Barbatos Digitize! phew!"

Gage looked to Jonny strangely, what could possibly be wrong with his hair? He moved his and through his hair, it was still there... he couldn’t feel anything WRONG with it, however it did feel lighter and softer then he would have expected, considering he had been traveling around the digital world for several days now with out access to a shower. And with out a mirror he was unable to see that his hair had completely changed color to a cloudy white. With nothing he could do about it he decided to continue ignoring Stryker’s comments. He held his disk over his D-Core digivice and like Jonny’s spirit his was also absorbed into memory. The Digivice began to prepare the necessary programs for Gage to access Spirit Digivolving at will. Gage left the Device to compile on its own and began the difficult task of scaling up the slippery dirt slope back to the battlefield.

((I just think I should throw this down for everyone. Gage is currently in one of the areas hit by Tropical Storm Ike. Now, I don't think there's any danger where he is, but power is cut there, and could be out for 4 days. So, I'll try and keep in contact with him for updates and such, but as far as his character goes, and all those around him, might be awhile before anyone says anything. Just an FYI sweatdrop ))

((UPDATE: Gage is a fibber! He was not in the Ike tropical storm! He was just in a big storm! ARGH! ....Well, turns out that he's fine, no storm anymore. Just waiting for them to put the transformers and stuff back together so that he can get power. We had a similar storm where I am in December, so I know how hard that sucks. Anyway, Gage is a fibber, and perfectly fine. That is all...))

((Well... the wind storm That hit Cincinnati was a result of Tropical Storm Ike... I think they decided to classify the 'phenomenon' as a Hurricane, but we didn't actually get the spinning funnel cloud or anything crazy like that...

still there was a BLEEP ton of damage... and Thousands of people were left without Electricity for many MANY Days...

My House Lost all power (and hot water crying ) for EXACTLY Seven Straight Days.....

I know, I was shocked too....

but power is back on now.... (hopefully for good, several houses that gained their power back earlier in the week lost it shortly after...) So Far so good though!

anyway, i think I'm going to go make out with an Electrical outlet now...))

Gage, after what felt like A WEEK of trying to climb up the slope of charred soil, managed to reach the surface of the battlefield area once again. As his gaze reached over the horizon he could see Kaya and her digimon running toward him. “Miss Kaya, that was quite an intense battle for a while there, are you injured?” he asked not sure if she had been wounded during the struggle against Nagato’s forces.

Before he could get an answer Kaya said something that shocked him, “White?” he blurted out, unsure of what else to say, but come to think of it Jonny and Veemon had also made comments about Gage’s hair... he rubbed a hand through his hair again, but it wasn’t long enough for him to get a look at it, “My hair turned white? When did this happen?”

Veemon ran up to join his Tamer, with a small, brown hamster-like digimon riding on its head. “That’s what I was tryin' ta tell ya Doc, your hair started changin’ colors after you used the Core!”
