Growlmon leaped at Angemon both claws raised.
"Growl claw, Pyro blast"
The fireball raced ahead to meet Angemon shortly followed by the claws ready to slash.

There was no way Angemon could dodge both attacks, he had to think about which one he had to endure. As the fireballs hit him in the face, he leaped forward, towards Growlmon, using his wings as a booster, avoiding the claws.
"Ok, Angemon, use Heaven Knuckle again!"
Angemon rushed forwards towards Growlmon.

Talik had been returning from a few months isolation and training with Shade when he Heard what sounded like digimon clashing in combat nearby ”Hmm, what do yea say we check this out see if there any good? Elecmon looked up yawning twitching his ear “ sounds like plan, but we should return to the gold hawks outpost to let them know where back or at least alive” Talik nodded as the grass whistled through air as the wind picked up slightly as they both moved closer to the scene of the fighting taking a high vantage and seating down watching over the tamers and digimon rage on in combat

The blow smashed Growlmon in the stomach, but his Growl claw attack continued. He Aimed both claws at Angemon's shoulder's and began charging a pyro blast...

The fireballs smashed into Angemon's face, he crumpled, but luckily dodging the claws.
"He's too fast Jai!"
"Your right Angmon, we can't beat him."
"Dont' be so hard on yourself! Come on, what should I do?"
"Umm, use holy spear!"
The spear rushed forward towards Growlmon.

Rei felt a sence of victory.

Both attacks ripped through Angemon, he fell to his knees.
"Ugh, he's nearly finished us!"
"Well, umm, maybe, you could, oh I don't know. He's too strong, Angemon, use just one more attack."
"What is it Jai?"
"Combine Heaven Knuckle and Holy spear!"
Angemon thrusted his spear forward, and his empty hand clenched into a fist, glowing with power.

"Gaaaa!"
Both of the attacks smashed into Growlmons stomach. The impact knocked the breath out of Growlmon.
"Grrrrr, hm."
Growlmon began laughing on the end of Angmon's spear.
"Raaaaaaa!"
A huge mass of fire grew in Growlmons mouth. It was overflowing out his mouth, it was bigger than Growlmon himself and it was getting much bigger. The heat was stagering.
"Pyrooooo... Blaaaaaast!"
He fired at Angemon from point blank range!

The flames scorched right into Angemon, all of his wings ignited in flame. The pain was unbearable, Angemon was writhing on the floor, trying desperately to put out the flames on his wings.
"Ugh! We lost!"
Jai knelt down next to Angemon, who then was consumed in blue light.Patamon then lay there. Jai picked him up and made him comfortable in his arms until Patamon would eventaly wake up.
"Ok, you won Rei.What next? Are you gonna get Growlmon to bite my head off?"

"No, I've won now I've got more important things to do."
Rei's eyes began to well up in tears.
"But I need to know, why did you do what you did to me. what did I ever do to deserve that."
Rei was crying now.
"Why!"

A tear ran down Jai's face.

"Rrrr, fine I belive you. Anyway if you want to you could help me out with something, maybe. I might need someone to cover me when I go and fight Devimon in those mountains overthere."
Rei gestured to the mountains in the distance. He didn't want to belive what Jai had to say; but seeing him and his digimon like this made Rei want to.
"Come if you want I don't mind either way. Ready Growlmon?"
"Yeah!"
A hint of a smile grew across Rei's face.
"Onwards!"

Sho was following far behind Rai, it was hot but he'd been through worse.
Awww c'mon Sho this guy can't be that important?
Sho just continued trudging along when...
I can't believe it!!!
Jai' Sho's old bullying victim had come out of no where and now he and Rei was fighting him with his digimon.
We're stopping.
Finally, Terriermon slumped onto the floor but Sho sat up and watched the battle unfold.

After the battle Sho had an entirely new point of view.
Rei had battled with determination and without mercy and Sho had newfound respect for him.
You weren't very nice in this other world, said Terriermon after Sho explained the incident.
I know and i regret what I did
You don't seem to regret it?
Put it this way Terrriermon, I don't regret what i did to Jai but Rei was meant to fight back and he was clearly phsically stronger than Jai but I probably ruined his life. Sho sighed, some people were too fragile.
Anyway, from what I heard I don't think I'll get a nice welcome but we'd better follow them anyway.
