Demon x Kunoichi [Private]

"Of course, your Majesty." Bomani said, taking his child back and holding him close, turning to leave.  

[Kunoichi Haruhi]

Anpu welcomed being in his father's arms, holding Bomani's shirt in his hands as they walked away and Chione said goodbye to her father.

"Well, that went well." Chione said, walking by Bomani's side. Servants passed and they eyed the family with curiosity, the news of Anpu had already gone around the Palace.

"It did." Bomani agreed. He smiled at the servants that walked past, and stopped once in a while for a servant or two that wanted to see the child for themselves. "What shall we do now?"  

[Kunoichi Haruhi]

"Hmm..." Chione began to think. They did not necessarily need to do anything. And, going out in the city now might scare Anpu. The city was still under construction, and she didn't want her child to see the destruction. "Well...we can go to the library? I honestly am out of ideas." She said nervously.

"As am I...let's go the library, then." Bomani said with a smile. "Then maybe to the gardens?"  

[Kunoichi Haruhi]

Chione nodded. "That sounds like a good idea." She said. Things may have changed in their absence, and it would be good to bring Anpu around the Palace.

Arriving at the library it seemed as if nothing had changed. Scrolls were still placed neatly on shelves, dust on most. "See, Anpu, there's a lot of writings here." She said to their son.

Bomani smiled. "Hopefully you learn to read better than your father has." he said with a soft laugh, looking around the library.  

[Kunoichi Haruhi]

Anpu looked around, then returned his attention to Bomani. He closed his eyes, letting out a whine. "It seems that he doesn't like it here." Chione said softly, a look of concern on her face as she looked at their child.

"Maybe not. To the garden, then?" Bomani asked, smiling at Anpu and kissing him gently on the top of the head, leaving the library, and when Chione joined him, he went toward the gardens.  

[Kunoichi Haruhi]

"I guess so." Chione said, then followed. The gardens were peaceful, since no one else was here at this hour. In comparison to the library, Anpu continued to look around, intrigued by the plants around him.

Bomani brought Anpu over to a few of the flowers and smiled, wondering how the child would interact. He seemed to reach for the flowers, and even managed to touch one.  

[Kunoichi Haruhi]

Chione watched as their child began to touch the flowers, and smiled. It seemed like Bomani was happy with Anpu, that she had the perfect family. "He does like this place better." She said softly.

Bomani smiled at Chione. "He does." he said softly. An idea came to him, and he motioned for her to follow him. He walked over to a secluded area of the garden, that had a lot of grass (one of the very few patches) and a bench in the middle. He put Anpu down gently on the grass, and lay on his stomach in front of the baby, smiling.  

[Kunoichi Haruhi]

Chione sat down next to Bomani and began to laugh. She couldn't help it, since Anpu gazed at the grass with wide eyes, and began pulling small handfuls out. "How cute..." She said softly.

Bomani smiled up at Chione. "I agree. I think we did well." he said, kissing her on the cheek.
