Toan and Astamon both gave sly grinned "Something like that" The Veggiemon came around with the food Toan had order. Toan took out his wallet and was about to pay when the veggiemon said "I-i-it ok, no need to pay, it on the house!" He hurried backed into the kitchen. Toan put away his wallet as he grabbed a hamburger and started eating. Astamon took a cup of coffee.

Kotemon and Dax exchanged looks. Dax was still rubbing the egg he had.
"What exactly do you me-" And then he had the flashback.
Dax ran from Seraphimon Burst Mode as he blasted him. He finally turned around and used his digivice to blast a beam of light towards Seraphimon Burst Mode, purifying him. Seraphimon Burst mode...
Dax stood up, knocking his chair over. Kotemon got up silently. "what's wrong sir?" He asked.
"Toan!" Dax shouted.
"You were that dude who attempted to take over the world!" He shouted, holding the egg in his hands tightly.

Toan winked at him "Finally figured it out eh Dax?" Toan bit into his hamburger as he took a drink of coke "Don't worry, if i wanted you dead you would be by now"

Dax grabbed his digivice and light had shown in the room, sending out a projection of Dax and his friends.
"I fight for all that is good. I have no reason to fight you now. especially since you saved my a**. But if you do anything to hurt a digimon in my prescense, I will have no choice but..." Dax remebered his digimon were with Genai. Because of his effin' mission. He couldnt fight Toan with Only Slashangemon!
He cursed under his breath and sat back down.

Dax first started chuckling. And then he broke out laughing, nearly falling out of his chair.

Dax wiped his left eye which was watering.
"Good. Because it's hilarious; Toan...you can't defeat me. I have the power of light on my side."

Kaz woke up feeling groggy he reached over, and felt the reasuring fuzzy lump easily identifiable as Gatomon, before sitting up and stretching. He looked up and saw Alter still leanig against the tree trunk, where he fell asleep, and packed his gear away. With everything ready for the day, he looked around, and spotted everyone except Dax, still asleep, or at least nearby. He brought his digivice out, and brought up the map. He fiddled with the buttons, until all the digivices used by those on Gennai's mission started to blink. He spied the one indicating Dax, and called out to the others, "I'm going to go find Dax, wait here, and I'll be right back." Kaz set off towards Dax's location, Gatomon sitting possively on his shoulder.
Kaz eventually navigated the streets of the town and eventually found Dax. He was sitting across from a forboding young man packing heat. Kaz came up discretely, getting Dax's attention, "Pssst dude, what the heck are you doing over here, we're getting ready to leave?"

"Astamon do you hear this kid? has the power of light on his side" Toan mocked. Astamon chuckled as if sharing an inside joke. "Well, A lot of angels said the same thing and look at how they ended up. more then half their race and 2/3 of their planets were conquered. if you see how truly corrupt and weak the light side is you might understand. Listen, light and darkness mean nothing to me. i can kill you a hundred time over right now before it even lunch time"
