You want to protect a certain person, but he or she won't let you because that person doesn't like seeing /you/ in pain. You think that that person doesn't trust you and that they're just toying with your heart. Would you continue to protect him/her or if this keeps up, leave her/him on their own?

You know, cuz they're terminal. I just heard that it's really hard to do that. I mean, yeah, someone's gotta do it... main point is, if you're good at comforting them and making life easy for the terminally ill, would you keep doing it?
Yes, I would. It's just in my nature to do so.
Would you leave someone that you cared about, or as far as to kill yourself, for if it meant that they'll be better in life off without you?
