Miss Lovely Rita

Moé gently shook his shoulder to wake him up the next day.
"Come on, Sir... we have work to do..."

Caleb turned his head to look at her. Then got out of the bed.

Moé went down to make breakfast, but then saw something scattering.
Hoping Caleb wouldn't notice her being distracted, she very quietly walked around to see what had happened.
It was a small wolf [but not Fenrir], carrying Caleb's shoe in his mouth.
Enraged, but not making any noise [Caleb would probably fillet the dog, after all], she reached for the shoe, but the wolf moved its head and growled.
Moé then began to chase after it.

Caleb rubbed his bare skin with a mixture of sage, saffron, and lavender. Placing a small package of the mixture into a pocket hidden inside the robe, he put the robe back on. Caleb walked down the stairs, to his surprise, he did not see his student.

Moé continued to follow the wolf, and eventually found herself outside... where the ship was. Alarmed, she tried to casually walk back inside, but the wolf had turned into some sort of medieval-esque executioner.
He spit out the shoe from his mouth, and then Moé began to panic and ran.
The executioner caught her by her hair, and spat,
"Seems our lead enemy's pet dog has wandered into our territory."
"No!," Moé declared incredulously. "I did it all. I went to the control panel, I shut off everything. Really, S-Sköll!"
Sköll didn't listen, and hoisted her up onto the ship, leaving behind nothing but the shoe.
Set saw this happening, and ran outside, alarmed. Upon recognizing the wolf, he became furious, and roared; there was nothing he could do, as the ship was out of reach.

Set ran back inside, finding Caleb. He stopped and turned to him.
"When we get her back from Loki, please tell Moé to not randomly chase stray dogs, even if they DO have your shoes in their mouth. Meanwhile, I'll try and think of what we can possibly do, with nothing to eat."
He continued stomping quite angrily, going up into Moé's room to plan.
[[The funny thign is that Moé's original plans were to be the OPPOSITE of a damsel in distress...]]

"...What has happened?" Caleb turned around to look at him as he walked away.

Set shrugged.
"Moé was kidnapped by a sun-devouring beast-thing. An agent of Loki. Carried away in a big ship."
He stretched nonchalantly, not really caring.
"And I was looking forward to breakfast, too..."

"When? Where would the ship be now?" Caleb questioned.

Set shrugged.
"I have no idea. Prolly in the remnants of Asgard, or, er, Heaven as you folks call it. You'll have to cross Bifrost to get there-- the bridge made from her corpse, I mean."

Caleb tilted his head slightly to the right. "....Would that be the only possible way?"

Set tilted his head.
"Or that weird portaling thing. Never liked it myself..."
He sighed.
"Damn. She's the only one who can cook, too. She can also... uh...."
He contemplated what other use Moé had, but couldn't find any.
PostPosted: Thu Jan 08, 2009 6:22 pm

"I'd would rather use the portaling system." Caleb replied. "...The sooner you help myself, the sooner you could eat."

Set laughed.
"I can't portal."
Jormungandr clinked his head against the side of the fishtank, and opened up one.
"How odd," Set said. "A human entering Asgard, or, err, 'Heaven', while alive."

Caleb walked into the portal. Not hearing Set's last comment.

It was a series of floating islands, with temples that seemed to be ridiculously archaic form age. It resembled Kokopelli's floating island, somewhat, as if it had come from this place.
In the center, glittering in the sun showed three huge idols; the middle one had been purposefully tarnished [its head, arms and legs were missing], the right one was made of marble, and the left one was gilded and shone like a beacon.
From left to right, it was the Lady, Jack, and Bifrost.
In the distance, you could hear a large group of people cheering.
