Lord Edegaru Hopefully, today the Snow Arc will end and Shige could get some training done. I feel so weak against long distance opponents at the moment. 
Why would it be done? What WAS the arc?! D'=

Well I wouldn't want to rush the Arc but it was not very much like a story since the beginning. I was hoping for character progression. It felt more like a V.S. game. Not that it is bad, I just wanted Shige to bond more with Jae. I do have Mokuton.
The Arc is Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow. A squad made up of two Genin and a Jounin go after the same number of shinobi and take them down since the Yukikage is held captive by one of their Genjutsu.

An arena sounds exhausting but interesting. I was thinking of combining Mokuton with the Eight Gates to create a custom lotus or something, using beams to bind an opponent to me and having beams rush out of the groung towards me and the opponent so the impact would be much more deadly. Something like that. I can always think up jutsu on a whim but I want to save the slots in case I have better ideas or necessities.

I could go further when combining the two, the idea seems better suited for Jounin though. Since the gates release much more chakra into the network, Shige could bring forth beams out of the ground by the dozens. A mass of impaling tendrils and branches that would be the extension of Shige's will. Like Gaara's sand but instead they would come from the ground and not a gourd.
