Xavier lost count of the steal attempts the other chasers tried on him. But the good thing is that he managed to dodge them all. He looked up and found himself in shooting range. His eyes widened when he saw a bludger slam right onto Alexandria. Darn. But the game has to continue; so he threw the quaffle towards the center hoop.

Leonette watched as Xavier took the shot and Alex missed it. This just wasn't there luck. Catching the quaffle as it was tossed to her she started off towards the goal. Looking for her teammates Leonette thought there had to be a better approach. "Bella!" she called out tossing the quaffle to the second year. Rosabella hadn't really even had the quaffle yet so it seemed right to toss it to her. Besides maybe some team work would be enough to win.

Maybe third time is the charm to hitting this girl?

As Leo made her caught the ball and called on her teammate Rosabella and tossed the quaffle towards her, Veronica sighed. On the bright side Rosabella hadn't been hit yet-though Veronica was sure she aimed for the girl twice now- and it wasn't like she was new so it really didn't make Veronica feel all that bad as she swung her bat aiming towards Rosabella. Maybe the girl's apparent protection from every bludger Veronica hit towards her would wear off. Then again, Veronica knew she was definitely not playing at the top of her game so it probably was more of her bad swing at the moment then Rosabella's having some kind of lucky bubble around her.

Veronica's eyes followed the bludger that whizzed towards Rosabella and she took a breath of relief realizing that the strong hit was too fast for Toby from his position to get to it in time and it was inevitable that the bludger would make contact with Rosabella and just maybe the first year on her team would have a better chance intercepting with the pass.

After watching the older, more experienced player score another goal, and placing Team Two deeper in the scoring deficit, Dani watched as the Quaffle was tossed by the pretty brunette Reserve Keeper over to another girl, Leonette, whom was one of the other Chasers on Team Two with her, and then to Rosabella. Figuring there was little else constructive she could do at this precise moment, it made sense for her to form up with her teammate, giving her somebody close by to pass the Quaffle to.

Tanya did a small loop-de-loop when Xavier managed to score yet again before she watched as the quaffle was passed to Leo. She zoomed towards her then had to watch the first year tried to intercept the pass to Rosabella. She gave the girl credit for getting as close as she did and went to try and steal the ball away from the girl as well.

Hmm... I would have thought it would be closer...

Veronica heard the bludger coming towards her from Toby's hit. It reminded her as she simply ducked out of the way of the bludger, that she had remained uninjured in try-outs so far. No coughing blood, no bruises, it was odd. Of course Toby was unharmed as well, it was the chasers and well, Alex as well, who were getting the force of the action. This wasn't an all out free for all between beaters, then again, maybe it was just that there really wasn't that many beaters who showed up or those interested in the position.

She swerved back and took advantage of the bludger that Toby meant for her and decided, she might as well send it back his way. Just a return the favor thing right?
