Sakakis childhood was quite lonely. He generally kept to himself and stayed quiet, ignoring the people who, on instinct, ignored him because of his horns. He made friends with a young girl named dai when he entered the ninja academy. They became very close and, once they were old enough to understand the significance of it, started dating. Sadly it didn't last for as long as sakaki hoped and they broke up after some very hurtful words were thrown around. They eventually became friends again and along the way sakaki gained new friends and grew a little closer to his cousin, the raikage.
