Demon x Kunoichi [Private]

[Kunoichi Haruhi]

"So..." Chione began, turning to face her family. "For now, do you think we should raise him in the village? Then, when we are called for the throne, we will raise him here?" She asked. She understood that the Palace and the village were two different environments, but she felt comfortable with raising their child in either one.

Bomani edged over so that he was pressed up against Chione, then moved Anpu a little so the baby rested in the little valley between where their bodies touched. "I...well...let's raise him here...but I want to make sure, when he's older, that he spends lots of time in the village. He has to know what it's like for his people, he has to know how they live, and feel, and act, so that when it's his turn, he knows how to rule fairly." he said.  

[Kunoichi Haruhi]

Chione couldn't help but blush, even with Anpu in their presence. "So, do you want to return to the village now, or stay here?" She asked.

"I just want to rest now. The last few days have been stressful." Bomani said softly. He closed his eyes and rested his head on Chione's shoulder.  

[Kunoichi Haruhi]

"Alright, you should rest, then." Chione said softly. At that moment Anpu began to whine, pulling at his father's shirt for attention again. "Now, Anpu, your father is tired." She said with a smile, lifting the baby into her arms. "Let's give him some time, yes?" She said, looking into Anpu's eyes. However, the baby didn't register her words, pulling at her dress and continuing to whine, wanting to be fed.

Bomani chuckled, not totally asleep. He turned over on his side, and put an arm over Chione, just under her breasts so she could still feed Anpu if she needed. "Maybe Anpu should get some rest too, he's always up." he teased in a soft voice, eyes still closed.  

[Kunoichi Haruhi]

Chione was a bit surprised when she realized where Bomani's hands were, but relaxed and began to feed the baby. "That's true. To think we would have such an active child..." She chuckled. Once the baby was done feeding she soothed the baby to sleep, then stood up from the bed. The arrival of a baby was unexpected at the Palace, so there was no official place to put Anpu. However, Chione took a basket, placed the baby blankets inside, and was able to place Anpu safely.

"There, that should do it." She said, lying down next to her husband, placing the blanket over them. The sun was beginning to set, and now Chione began to feel more fatigued.

Bomani was half asleep by the time Chione decided to fall asleep as well. He felt her presence near him and her body weight press down on the bed next to him. He snuggled against her and sighed happily.  

[Kunoichi Haruhi]

A small smile grew on Chione's face as she felt the presence of the one she loved. "I...love you..." She said softly, then fell asleep beside him, an arm over him to make sure he was always nearby.

Bomani woke first...but not in the morning. Anpu was crying. Chuckling softly to himself, he got up and walked over. He picked up Anpu and sat down on the edge of the bed, rocking the child gently. "You need to stop doing this." he said with a soft smile.  

[Kunoichi Haruhi]

Chione, in the meanwhile, only stirred. The events of the day had tired her out so that she couldn't get up. However, feeling Bomani leave the bed caused her to roll over. "Bomani..." She murmured, in her sleep.

Anpu at least stopped crying, for the moment, and Bomani looked at Chione. "Careful, or you'll wake your mother up." he said softly. He held Anpu as he moved to where he lay before but sat up in bed, rocking his child a little more.  

[Kunoichi Haruhi]

Anpu looked up at his father, tugging at his shirt. Chione then began to open her eyes, feeling the bed move under her a little. "Oh..." She said, seeing their child in her husband's arms. "Did he cry?" She asked.

"Yeah. Little guy keeps wanting attention." Bomani said, smiling at the baby, who seemed to almost smile back.  

[Kunoichi Haruhi]

"Haha, well, I believe he deserves our attention." Chione said, sitting up as well. Sighing, she placed her head on her husband's shoulder.
