Kyo stared out the window and into the rain, which had slowed down a little. Even though it had toned down a little, it was still peaceful and beautiful. It was at these levels that rain was a good thing.

GIkishou smiled and pulled into the driveway, getting out and then helping Kyo out, taking him inside. "We better get changed if we don't wan to get sick."

"Right. We should change into dry clothes right away," Kyo agreed, nodding. "Getting sick is defnitely a bad thing, especially if we're supposed to go stargazing tomorrow."

Gikishou got out clothes for both of them, handing some to Kyo. "There you go." He went to the bathroom and changed happily, coming out feeling warmer, due to the clothes, and getting a blanket to wrap Kyo in when he came out.

It didn't take long for Kyo to change into dry clothes, which now felt more comfortable than the suit. He began to wonder about the fireflies and where they were. Since it was raining, they were probably in their homes trying to get away from it.

Gikishou put the blanket over his shoulders when he came out, picking him up and taking him down to the couch, sitting. "Are you hungry? I can make some hot soup if you want." He offered, kissing his hair lightly.

"That would be nice," Kyo said. "Is it okay if I help? I'm afraid of forgetting how to cook, since I had worked for years to remember recipes and such." Another reason was that he felt guilty for always sitting around while Giki-san did practically everything.

Gikishou nodded, kissing him lightly and getting up with him, walking to the kitchen with Kyo beside him. "Alright, do you want chicken, just broth, or a stew?" He asked him, smiling.

"I'm fine with any choice," Kyo replied with a shrug. "I wouldn't mind as long as the soup tastes okay."

"Chicken soup it is. Not too heavy and not too light." He got out the stuff for it, washing his hands and cutting the chicken since he didn't want to risk Kyo getting cut with the knife.

Kyo merely watched the knife as if sliced through the chicken. He wondered how such a dangerous weapon could be so helpful. Then again, there were always good and bad sides to things.

Once he was done, he cleaned the knife carefully before putting it up, putting the chicken in the pot and also putting water and a few herbs in. He looked for something to add substance. He found some celery and chopped that up and put it in.

It seemed that there was nothing for Kyo to do. All he was doing now was watching the whole thing and memorizing how the soup was made. If Giki-san needed help, then he would gladly help, but at the moment there was nothing to do.

Gikishou was about to get the noodles, but remembered that Kyo wanted to help. "Um... if you want, you can get the noodles and put them in." He said sheepishly.

"Um... Sure, but where are they?" Kyo asked, a little embarrassed that he was asking that. He didn't know where anything really was, and it would be wise to go searching when it was easier to ask.
