Blade Kuroda Does this exist in halloween? More specifically.. CANDY CORN MINES!?
Where do you think candy corn comes from?
There are two varieties: the ones grown in fields, and the ones mined. They both have different textures and tastes, and to some people they're both equally gross and disgusting to even consider eating. : D
Ol-j-man What does the layman know about Insanity, if at all? Since most regard matters of the Core with superstition, would they think of it as like their version of the Black Plague/leprosy and avoid someone who has the physical symptoms?
It is still relatively new -- last year, beings from Christmas were infected with it. They acted strangely, and they seemed to be composed of grays and fog. The general belief is that it came from Christmas, or perhaps something far sinister...
There are many rumors about it, many of them exaggerated to the point where it's hard to tell fact from fiction. If someone had the physical symptoms in a place like Christmas, then they would probably be avoided/locked up/taken to a hospital.
Halloween? Man, there's crazy things everywhere! The physical signs would most likely be overlooked, as there ARE fog monsters that aren't affected by Insanity at all that live just fine in Halloween. It's the actions/mental health that gives them away, and even then they're more likely to be hospitalized/medicated/not taken seriously as Insanity.
Seussi Just a couple of questions about the horsemen insanity. Is it now gone? Or is that up to the players to decide for their individual characters? If it is gone, would Shaheen still bare the markings of it on her skin/hair/eyes?
It is up to the players to decide! However for Horsemen it's just "reset" to stage 1: paranoia, whispers, etc. It's more passive, but Shaheen and other horsemen would still have the marks.
If you want to get rid of it 100%... come talk to us. biggrin You can always plot it off!

xoxomenai More Insanity Questions biggrin Actually this has more to do with Insanity and Distortion and how they might relate. How do they react with one another, aside from Distortion generally ridding Insanity?? If a horseman/initiated character with Insanity participates in Lair tasks and builds their Distortion, would the Distortion ICly weaken their Insanity?? And if they manage to obtain enough Distortion to flip to Mirror Image, how would that affect their Insanity, if at all?? Could it cure them?? Could the Insanity ever accumulate enough to overpower Distortion?? Would it ever be possible to have permanent physical changes due to Distortion, the same as higher levels of Insanity give grey patches?? P.S. I am sorry at sooo many questions, but so many ideas, and I need to know ;; Thank you!
Distortion will "suppress" the insanity to manageable levels yes biggrin Think of it creating a protective bubble around your core to prevent other insanity from coming in LIKE A PROTECTION CHARM
Mirror image does not fix insanity, it just is a really bad way of ridding your distortion suddenyl all at once XD its really not that great LMAO
Insanity could overpower distortion as distortion can overpower insanity. Distortion is something of a "Temporary fix" ie, like fixing a headache with aspirin. Once the headache persists to a deeper level...
Yes! Distortion can actuall evolve to some permanent effects. We will be bringing this up later...
