Pacing

[Immortal Methos]

"This time of night?" Methos murmured. "Ten minutes."  

[Immortal Ghost]

"Done." Was her whispered word even as she went to capture his lips in a hard but shorter kiss, pulling back she was looking a little flushed, "Try to make it less."

 

[Immortal Methos]

"Yes, ma'am," Methos nodded, guiding Luana to his jeep.  

[Immortal Ghost]

She gave a smile on his words, no so much amused as just in a good mood, there was little question as to why of course, Luana followed him willingly, despite being much shorted she could length her stride to match when she wanted to. Her own car was a good number of blocks away, she never minded walking, it was most likely safer with him driving, she had a thing for speeding recklessly.

 

[Immortal Methos]

Methos drove to his apartment in a manner that was less than careful but just short of recklessly illegal. Parking in his assigned spot, he hurried around the jeep to open Luana's door for her.

"Welcome to my extremely humble abode," he said, taking her hand.  

[Immortal Ghost]

Luana gave him a smile as she stepped out of the jeep, using her free hand to gather her skirts, stepping forward practically against him she shut the door and stared up at him. "Somehow, I think that's fine." Her tone was low, holding the barest hints of a purr.

 

[Immortal Methos]

Regardless of his assertions to MacLeod or Joe, Methos' long successful life could not be attributed to any one ability or habit. He was not the wisest creature who ever lived, he was not even the wariest. Many, many times in his multi-millennial timeline he had found himself in horrible trouble, final death just seconds away, and yet here he was still.

Perhaps, with all his cleverness, wit, and caution, with all that he had learned by experience and absorbed through Quickenings, Methos' main secret of survival was because he was damned lucky.

And so, he took another chance with his head as he guided Luana into his small apartment, gathering her into his arms as the door closed behind them.

The back of her mind gave up yelling at her after she got in the jeep, simply because hey if she wanted to wander off with someone she didn't know that well, oh well, it tried to warn her, she ignored it. Luana still didn't bother to think to be worried, not at all, instead ended up going on tiptoes again to kiss him in a much longer exchange then before once the door shut. Not really giving him time to say or do anything, not really in the mood to waste the time at the moment.

OOC: Shall we curtain this scene and move to morning, or call it over -- Don't want to get busted for hanky-panky on Gaia! What do you think? heart

The next morning brought a lazy wakening, despite the continued thrum of Immortal presance in the bed next to him. It took him another level of awareness to realize that the warm body at his back was not MacLeod.

Oh, that's right, he smiled to himself. Luana. And we're both still alive. So far, so good.

Turning carefully, so as not to awaken the Immortal woman if she still slept, he gazed down at her pale, lovely face.  

[Immortal Ghost]

Not waking her wasn't going to happen given the warmth she was cuddling against moved, though it still took her a second to realize why that might happen. Another second before Luana opened her light blue eyes and gave a small smile, "Guten morgen." Her quiet voice was interlaced with hints of sleep, though she was normally halfway a morning person at lest, normally she would have at lest had breakfast cooked and ready. She had to admit silently this was a nice way to wake up though, different for sure, but nice.

 

[Immortal Methos]

"Morgen," Methos purred back, leaning down to lazily kiss her. He was, by no means, a morning person, usually staying buried in the bedclothes until circumstances required his rising for the day. And so he snuggled back down next to Luana and drew her warmth against his bare skin.

For once she really didn't want to get up, now see this was most likely the only way for her to willing stay in bed, but this certainly worked. She made soft noise in content and cuddled against him, yeah, getting out of bed didn't even cross her mind. She doubted she'd go back to sleep, but at the moment that didn't matter, as long as he wasn't planning on kicking her out she was perfectly happy right were she was.

 

[Immortal Ghost]

It wasn't till she was hungry that she gave a barely heard sound and went to pull away from him, so hunger would get her moving, alas, that was just how it was. She glanced to him to see if he was wake, not planning on waking him if he was, she could hit up a fast food joint somewhere near by, hopefully. She hadn't honestly paid attention to where exactly he lived, and she wasn't randomly picking a direction to try to find somewhere, okay so maybe she would wake him up.
