vampzgrl16 That was NOT funny. That video was supposed to mean something important to the band and MadTV went and ruined it for us! It wasn't funny AT ALL!!! Especially how they made Gerard fat. he used to be and he was really sensitive about it and here they are parading it all around youtube for everyone to see! It sucks! I can just imagine how the MCR haters are falling out of their chairs laughing! Ugh! I hate it when people take a song that is supposed to be respected and meaningful and turn it into something pointless and retarded!! And so what if MadTV does this all the time?? They shouldn't be and that's the point! Ugh! I feel sorry for anyone who enjoyed that video because it was so horrible and cruel!
Okay, I'm done with my sixth rant...no i'm not.
How can people be so stupid to do something like that to a band that has worked so hard to overcome so many challenges and come out on top with good messages to kids about living life and trying their hardest to succeed and working to achieve everything they want in life? And their other messages like not committing suicide and being yourself and not taking anyone else's crap? Those people made a mockery of something special and something that was meant to be cherished! I can't believe people do that! They obviously have no lives! I had to turn that off after about 30 seconds because I couldn't take it! And to think they were supposed to be making fun of Seinfeld! I still pity anyone who likes that video and found it funny! Especially if it was a fan of MCR! MadTV and other people like that should not have the right to do that to bands, making fun of their music and their band. UGH!!!!
Okay, I think I'm finally done. And if you actually read all of this, then I applaud you. THANK YOU VEEERY MUTCH i needed a rant so i didnt have to go off and rant by my self thank you and yes i did read all of it damn madtv!

Don't take this offensively guys: MadTV does this s**t all the time, and it's always harmless. It's just like SNL and South Park. They make fun of every religious group, fat people, skinny people... whatever xD

tho that was really rude to mock such a great band, i hope people dont take it prsonally. mad tv is full of really stupid people tryign to make peopel laugh. and im not saying its okay they made taht skit but dont take it personall. they used a fat person to make fun of gerard, and while its rude becuase i think he looked cute even during his high skule times, its liek stupid funny. they tried so hard to make fun of them and thats sad. dont get mad people. there will always be stupid people out there. you just cant let them see you sweat.

I think of it as honoring MCR. For using that song, that means the MadTV staff liked them enough to use their song. I thought it was really cool to do that. But thats just my opinion.

ghostmelody I know I'll probably get some bad replies about this, but I thought it was hilarious. I know MCR is my favorite band and I know MadTV were poking fun at them, but they weren't, like, bashing them. I don't know if you guys know this, but MadTV does this kind of thing all of the time. The fact that it's MCR who's involved in the joke doesn't seem like a good reason to form a lynch mob and storm the studio. I positively adore My Chemical Romance, but I mean... come on. If I can laugh at parodies of other bands and artists, I'm not not gonna laugh because MCR are the ones in the spotlight. I'm actually proud of MCR for being big enough that they would be parodied anywhere, let alone on MadTV.
(and you gotta admit, they did an incredible job with the uniforms and the backdrop) ^ every single word she said
