Cpt. James Hook absinthemourning Cpt. James Hook MortSanglant should win, methinks.
The others aren't that great, and the one currently in the lead - ratsblood perhaps - you can see the outline of whatever was used to put the blood/burn effect on the person's face.
Bad form. At least his idea wasnt over-used..... and to be perfectly honest... Anti-Shop and RatsBlood are the best ones up there. "Best" is a relative term, my dear.
I do not see many garage door smashings in this contest, unless my eyes somehow deceive me.
The blood on Anti-Shop's photo is haphazardly splashed, and the bruises are poorly contrived.
I hate to sound harsh, but perfectionism is my game.
OMG! My bruises do suck! I did the under coat for them then forgot about doing the rest and now it looks like purple lines! |

It's too over done.
The blood is everywhere the bruises are poorly done but I may have considered had you not looked so stiff.
I understand dead bodies are stiff but your position seemed forced and Morty seems so natural.
If that could be said about dead bodies.

The Goth Apple Aw, choose one? But they're all so fricken awesome... I mean, Athiel has good makeup, MortSanglant definately has the most creative death I've seen, Anti Shop has those awesome specials (I can see your brains, man. I can see your fricken brains!) DarkPrincesa's picture is just an awesome picture, whose subject happens so be dead. (and quite pretty) Charlie... that's a cool effect. Absinthmourning's eyes really, really look dead. And, I mean, green blood! How cool is that? You can almost see banshee's eyes reflected in her blood, and Shinnardia has awesome composition. I love the background. Wittle... I have never seen anything that messy in a bathtub before. That's good, messy is good. Speaking of messy is good, I think that ratsblood wins the "your death sucked the most" award, and I'm not even sure how he died. It looks like his face was burnt off.
Really, good job, everyone. You kinda rock.
