What I'd like to know is why so many different people are stepping up to say that "Not all ukes are shy!" while almost no one is trying to say that "Not all semes are violent!"
I was under the perception that uke or seme, every man has his own personality. There has to be someone who could clearly be classified as a seme, but won't fight to the death for the top position anyway - maybe someone a bit more patient who didn't mind a switch every now and then.
Or would he automatically be an uke? No matter what other personality traits he might have?
Personally, I'd go with seke/seke anyday - so many more interesting positions (Yes, I DO mean THAT way) and situations. But for the purpose of this poll, I'll have to say seme/seme 4-eva, because Blue likes her men big and masculine.
...Well, MOST of the time, anyway. mrgreen

I like the regular, Seme/uke, but not all that violent stuff like Blue mentioned. Like Fake, Ryo wasn't stereotypical girly-guy but it was okay for him to be uke. And Eerie Queerie (Ghost), the girly-guy, whose name escapes me, was talking about being on top.
I don't mind if they switch, or break the mold, it makes it more interesting.

Seme+Seme=A hilarious dual of trying to over power the other xd (but eventually one of them will end up being on the bottom razz )
Uke+Uke=Adorably innocent and shy; awkwardly trying to see how to go about it (one of them will have to make a choice, even if it does take an hour to rough things up mrgreen )

Well the problem in ukexuke relationships would be that if both of the are the recievers then who's going to penetrate if you get what I mean.
Same but opposite thing fo semexseme! Just imgine yuki eiri and soubi in a relationship. Or Ito Keita and Suichi!

Seme/Seme, hands down.
Two guys fighting for the top, pinning each other against beds and walls, etc. biting each other and forcing themselves on each other...how hotter can you get?
I can't picture myself in a relationship with a guy, because that's what would happen.

You know... I don't think that this question is even valid... Oo;; I mean, Seme and Uke just refers to who tops and who bottoms in sex... and two people can't top at the same time nor can two people bottom at the same time. Therefore I'm just going to say the normal SemexUke.
I think if you're talking personalities--two of the more "masculine" want-to-top-all-the-time-to-prove-my-masculinity guys would be much better than two cutesy-ish I-live-only-to-please-you-and-act-cutesy guys. I mean, like my SasuNaru, the two are totally masculine. They'd both fight long and hard against each other to top and that'd make their "experiences" spicier. If I want cutesy or softer stuff I'd have more luck looking in the yuri section (although that probably has it's share of very dominant women as well... LOL).

Uhh.. being an actual gay man.. I can tell you that it usually doesn't work out like that. People take turns. ((Even in the anime world))
Some ukes are aggressive. Some semes are shy. Sure, it might be awkward for a bit, but they'd get over it.
