Cloud winced and turned his face away from Maddock's fingers. Instanly however his gaze was drawn back at the mention of Aeris's name. He hadn't noticed her before and instinctively pressed back when she cracked the whip.
"Aeris", his voice cracked slightly as he looked at the flower maiden. Memories of her before she'd become this abomination flashed through his head causing it to ache even worse. "Don't let yourself be a puppet." It almost seemed natural to add like me at this end of this statement but he bit it back.

"Shut up." She growled out, and struck him across the stomach with the whip. She repeated this several times, before Maddock spoke.
"Sephiroth." A smirk curled at his lips, as he heard the handle of the whip hit the ground.
Aeris was staring at her hands in horror, "Wh-why...Cloud!" She fell onto her knees beside the table, "I...I did this to you..." She began to cry, not able to look up at her friend.
Maddock smirked, and took a seat back in the chair, "Tormenting the both of you like this, could get fun." He crossed his arms over his chest, and laughed again.

"You son of a b***h!" Cloud yelled furiously, training against the chains in attempt to get at the man behind Aeris. "She has nothing to do with this! Take what you want from me, but leave her out of it!"

He ignored the man's request. "Cloud...Do you know how thebody of someone who was once dead works?" He stood from the chair, walking over to Aeris, "One might think they can't feel pain...but it's not true. They feel pain, They bleed..." He grabbed her hair, pulling her to her feet, "About the only difference is, they can bleed for longer without dieing."
He pulled a knife from his pocket, "how about we test this theory..." Aeris shrieked as the man grabbed her arm, holding it above Cloud's face. He made a clean slice with the knife. Aeris screamed again, as blood began to drip down onto Cloud's face.

Loz frowned slightly, obviously upset that he wasn't going to get a little bit of action today. "Hmph...You mean that greasy scientist guy?" He nodded a head towards the turks and Vincent, "Is that who you guys are looking for?" He hoped the answer was a 'no'...he wanted to fight.
(Gee, Thanks Cassie razz And Aeris always kicks a** >_>;; Aeris > Tifa))

"Stop it! Leave her alone!" he yelled The sight ofAeris's frightened face filled him with rage and he fought even harder. "She hasn't done anything, just let her go!"
Then he realized something and stopped. A drop of the girl's blood trickled down his cheek and his teeth clenched. "If you're so adept at raising the dead, then why didn't you use your talents to bring back Hojo?"

Maddock became suddenly enraged, losing his collected composure. He threw the flower maiden to the ground, not caring at all when her sobs hit his ears. "Don't you think i tried that already!" He grabbed cloud by the shirt, shaking him slightly, "That's why you're here...You're going to tell me exactly how he died...I can't do it unless I know his last memory!"
He let Cloud go, and stepped away from the table, running a hand through his greasy hair. "Stupid b***h..." He muttered as he looked to Aeris. He kicked her, hard, in the side and laughed when she made a pained cry. "Women..such useless creatures...Especially this one..." He spit on her, disgusted by the sight of her cowering on the floor.

Cloud's face darkened with anger. "What makes you think I'd tell you anything after what you've done?" he hissed. "I understand you wanting revenge for what happened to hojo, but Aeris is just an innocent. Using her to get to me was the one way to assure that I'll never do anything to help you and no amount of torture will change that."

"Just think about it Cloud...you tell me this one tiny piece of information, and you and Aeris can both leave here, and live together once again..." He smiled, that unpleasently pleasent smile, "Or...You can not tell me, and I slaughter your wench and leave her bloody body ontop of you." He headed for the door, "I'll give you a little while to think about it." He placed his hand against the door's security system, and left once the door had opened, closing it behind himself.

Cloud slumped down in his chains defeatedly. This was going all wrong. He almost found himself wishing he was facing Kadaj and his brothers instead of this.

"We're not sure... We're quite curious however as to how you are standing her before us. I was there when the three of you died so it's hard to concieve how you were resurrected..."

Reno nodded in agreement. "Yo, we have no clue whats going on? If you guys would be so kind to fill us in?" Rude glanced at Reno and then at the remnants. He had a feeling that something wacky was going on. "We do not wish to fight you. Please, help us find the man behind this so we can stop him before he resurects someone else." Rude bowed his head slightly. He never expected to be on the brother's side.

Aeris crawled on the floor, over to the table. She reached up, and grabbed one of Cloud's hands tightly, "Cloud...It's okay if I die.." She muttered, tears forming in her eyes, "I'm not supposed to be here anyway...I've already died once." The sound of her tear drops hittign the stone floor could be heard, "Don't tell him anything, Cloud...Don't give him what he wants..."

Kadaj considered striking the three of them down right then- an instinctive hunger to kill always surged through the young one's blood. Shaking it off with a dismissive wave of his other hand, he decided to take the passive route, for once, and respond with,
"We were brought here by a man. Father's assistant..."
Vibrant green eyes roamed back to his two brothers, widening as if wanted to confirm this statement with them all.
